AT&T

I'm being generous at "poor". I'm having calls that won't go through, calls that are dropped, voice dropping out, etc. AT&T suggested a microcell, and admitted that several of my neighbors have them. The AT&T coverage map shows "excellent" 4G coverage, but I'm not getting it. I walk around outside, and it's the same. They should update the coverage map or change the actual coverage (install a new antenna, tune what they have, etc.); calling my area "excellent" borders on false advertising.

Moved to Berea in June and reception is horrible. Been told by cusromer service if they get enough complaints they may do something about this problem. 1 bar sometime, usually none. Dropped calls always. Been with T-Mobile for nine years trying to get out of contract.

always have consistent signal. It never drops a call and it's the best carrier it seems in my area.

Lately, I have been getting very poor reception in that a slight movement of the wrist can send bars from max. to zero. Very unstable reception in my home which used to be excellent in downtown Lakewood. I am having the same problem with 3g and 4g. A couple of times I totally lost phone and data connections. Galaxy S2

Reception at Case, in the area around Adelbert Road, is hit or miss. Outside, in the middle of the road or Quad, its fairly good (3-4 bars). However, as soon as you stray into one of the academic buildings or University Hospitals, expect 1-0 bars. I'm a Case student and its fairly common to have no service on this side of campus or in the health sciences complex. You can get lucky if you're in one of the taller buildings and standing next to a window, but in a classroom on a ground floor? Forget it. Talked to a bunch of friends and it seems that Verizon and AT&T is the worst. Sprint is marginally better (maybe +1 bar) and I don't know anyone with T-Mobile.

I was a long time Verizon customer until I moved to Bay Village. With Verizon, I would constantly drop calls, service was very spotty - especially by the lake. With Verizon I would get one bar signal outside, and zero bars inside the house. Data connections with Verizon simply do not work in Bay Village. Driving through Avon Lake I would get zero coverage. I called Verizon and they told me to get better coverage I would have to upgrade to a smartphone - and extend my contract. I got a 30 day trial phone from Sprint (Epic 4G Touch), and it solved my coverage problems completely. 4G access, very fast. With Sprint I get 3-4 bars in the house, 5 bars outside. If you live in Bay Village and you want great cell phone coverage, look no further than Sprint. It works very well.

the reception I recieve on my street in cleveland heights is unsatisfying(lownesdale) I even have problems in other places such as the lakeshore area of cleveland also in lorain county I really want to go back to Verizon I had few problems out of them. Sprint should add more towers or something.

Reception at home is rarely two bars, mostly 1 bar or none at all! Calls always drop when driving accompanied by a loud beep in my ear - happens with blue-tooth and phone. AT&T replaced my Pantech Ease after 4-1 / 2 months and the new Pantech has the same problem. I do not use a data plan, just phone / text. Very frustrating!

Can only get reception if I stand at a window or on the front porch - when I called ATT was told they do not guarantee reception in any builidng (not told when signing contract of course). But they will sell me a booster for $100... .. whereas my son in NC go one free for the same problem... I will not get ATT again - poor service and no customer service.
