NO SPRINT ZONE! My daughter recently moved on Hickory Branch in Strongsville, Ohio and I have absolutely no Sprint reception while I am there! Not only an inconvenience, but when babysitting I have no way of dialing out! May I add that Verizon has absolutely no reception issues in that area! What gives??! September 1, 2015

I had Verizon and switched to Sprint after a third party vendor sold me a bad phone and instead of replacing it free of charge dragged out the complaint by "rebuilding it" until we hit the 30 day window and then they used my insurance to replace it leaving me with no insurance coverage for the next year. And of course 6 months later I dropped my phone and the screen broke. Verizon wanted $600 to replace it. I switched to Sprint and so did my son. We saved $200 a month doing so. At Sprint I don't have to worry about taking out a personal loan to replace a phone if something happens, the insurance is about the same price, the phones are less expensive (about $400 on average), the monthly plan is less expensive, and the service has been great--no connection issues; no billing issues. At Verizon I wanted to go back to owning a flip phone just to avoid the financial risks associated with owning a smart phone (referring to the replacement costs); I even asked to change to a flip phone but they told me I had to have the data line because I had an IPAD. Funny thing is during the conversion to Sprint the IPAD got left on at Verizon and I no longer had two data plans so this two was a little shady. Bottom line, if you don't have to travel to some isolated area go with Sprint. If you have to drive across the desert go with AT&T. If you have business in an area outside Sprint's coverage area go with Verizon but if you do business with either AT&T or Verizon make sure you have $600-$1,000 saved in case anything happens to your phone!

No cell or text service of any kind. I get missed call indicators but the phone does not ring.

Reception is terrible here with all carriers, hilly terrain, need taller towers - PLEASE... ...

Terrible reception..zero to one bar..sometimes two in the middle of the night. 1X or weak 3G, again at best. Verizon looked into the issue and threw up their collective hands saying that is just the way it is. Stuck with a $250.00 paperweight as it will not work on another network.

Constantly missing texts, not sending texts, calls won't go thru, calls dropped. Lots of complaints to company, always told they are working on it. Frustrating. I'm getting a new carrier.

Verizon coverage is terrible. I have not finished a call on my iPhone in the 6 months. They relented and gave the neighbors a booster, but act stupid when I ask for one. Contracts are soon to be up and I'm moving on.
