It's now 2014 and we are still experiencing the same problems with drop calls. Sprint reassured us that after the new towers were repaired in 2013 our problem would be solved... that has NOT happened. Only 2 months left on our contract. Goodbye Sprint! I would call to tell you that we are changing companies but, there is a good chance I won't have a signal or the call may get dropped! Two fingers up.

Sprint has terrible service in the Indianapolis area. It doesn't matter if I am in thesticks or ddowntown, Sprint sucks. I wouldn't encourage any person living in or near Indianapolis to pay Sprint any $$ for cell service.

AT&T

Got AT&T phone from work. The damn thing keeps dropping calls and the other person on the line says they can't hear me. Inside my house I usually have 1 - 2 bars. AT&T has poor service in Zionsville!

Sprint's website shows what "g" the speeds are you are getting. Tested with speedtest.net I get 2g speeds on 4g LTE. Call drops constantly.

Stayed at Marriott Courtyard downtown and spent most of the time in Indiana Convention Center. Excellent service, excellent signal penetration. Had 4G at all times. T-Mobile was fabulous reception-wise.

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | 86th | Spring Mill, Indianapolis, IN 46260 |

AT&T terrible here in civilization off 86th and Spring Mill - 3 bars quickly drops to 1 or 0 bars with incoming calls. Lost and dropped calls common. No AT&T on IUPUI campus in buildings either - will be switching carriers tomorrow!

Mass ave - 1 bar IUPUI - spotty max 2 bars Circle Center - 2 bars Let's just say that I am a very p'oed individual with sprint. I get NO service in my house, 46204, and I have contacted them to get a airway booster in my house, one month passes still no airway booster. Just moved from Atlanta, Sprint is the best down there, up here, different story

Wish I could switch to Credo so badly, but AT&T seems to be the only carrier that works well in all parts of the town for me. Reception does depend on the phone too, but for the most part I've had very few problems with AT&T. My neighbors have Verizon and get NO reception in their house.

I cannot make or receive a single call today without getting disconnected. They have a poor signal in 46204 (my work) and 46237 (my home) zip code areas for the past 3 months. They say they are upgrading their towers for 4G service and they don't have a date when the call drop issues will be fixed.

AT&T

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | Butler University | Illinois and 41st, Indianapolis, IN 46208 |

Dependable signal presence, performance a little less dependable. AT&T signal seems available generally through out the state, wheno driving and lusty the cell connection, reconnecting read perfected with a minute, but required redialing. Phone conections were not automatically forwarded to adjacent cells confirming stronger comparative signal.

Long time loyal Sprint customer with serious frustrations. Service was really good until the last 2-years! We have been promised change, after change, after change, and after change in the last two years. Service has moved from sub-par to not available. The last two months have really pushed us over the edge; maximum call length is <4 minutes before signal loss and disconnect. In the last year we have been promised tower updates are in progress. Each call now we hear the updates will be done by mm / dd / yyyy (and the date is generally +60 days - a pattern?). After many years, we are seriously looking to transfer to another carrier. After much dialog and Sprint getting nervous we were looking to cancel, we got a $15.00 credit. We pay over $300.00 per month and collectively use less than 300 minutes (all minutes) and 25mb's of data! Thanks Sprint! Oh, we have NEVER missed a payment, period! Even after they acknowledged the large number of return calls were clearly due to faded / lost signal we got a whopping $15.00 credit. HAHA, thank you. Yes, we are frustrated and Spring clearly does not care. Maybe if DISH does complete the sale they will clean house and get serious.

Sprint

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | 116 Meridian To Michigan, Carmel, IN 46032 |

In Carmel (North Indy) if you take 116th all the way from Meridian to Michigan there is no service. I don't mean spotty I mean literally no service. My coworker yaps on his Verizon the whole way. Noblesville is also spotty at best. Sprint REALLY needs to add a tower or two.

SPRINT is by far the worst. They're awful. They claim LTE coverage, but it's spotty at best... where you can find it. The phone will show 4G, but by the time anything is performed the phone is back to 3G. Saying they have LTE in Indy is a joke. How do they get away with this blatant false advertising? It's criminal. If I had to pay for my service, there's no question I'd be on Verizon. Everyone I know who has LTE with Verizon raves about their coverage. We're left with garbage. Seriously, it's absolutely pathetic.

Since Januaray 25, 2013, I have had limited or no T-Mobile service in my area. When I get 3-4 miles away from my home, my service is restored to the way it is supposed to be. I was credited $12 for my issue after a week of no service but this problem is still going on. I need my phone the way it was on January 24, 2013.

Terrible reception... too many dropped calls. I am switching when contract is up in March... two more months and I am free. Had to keep land line in my house due to T-Mobile's horrible reception.
