Horrible service

Sprint
Long time loyal Sprint customer with serious frustrations. Service was really good until the last 2-years! We have been promised change, after change, after change, and after change in the last two years. Service has moved from sub-par to not available. The last two months have really pushed us over the edge; maximum call length is <4 minutes before signal loss and disconnect. In the last year we have been promised tower updates are in progress. Each call now we hear the updates will be done by mm / dd / yyyy (and the date is generally +60 days - a pattern?). After many years, we are seriously looking to transfer to another carrier. After much dialog and Sprint getting nervous we were looking to cancel, we got a $15.00 credit. We pay over $300.00 per month and collectively use less than 300 minutes (all minutes) and 25mb's of data! Thanks Sprint! Oh, we have NEVER missed a payment, period! Even after they acknowledged the large number of return calls were clearly due to faded / lost signal we got a whopping $15.00 credit. HAHA, thank you. Yes, we are frustrated and Spring clearly does not care. Maybe if DISH does complete the sale they will clean house and get serious.

Sprint
In Carmel (North Indy) if you take 116th all the way from Meridian to Michigan there is no service. I don't mean spotty I mean literally no service. My coworker yaps on his Verizon the whole way. Noblesville is also spotty at best. Sprint REALLY needs to add a tower or two.

Sprint
SPRINT is by far the worst. They're awful. They claim LTE coverage, but it's spotty at best... where you can find it. The phone will show 4G, but by the time anything is performed the phone is back to 3G. Saying they have LTE in Indy is a joke. How do they get away with this blatant false advertising? It's criminal. If I had to pay for my service, there's no question I'd be on Verizon. Everyone I know who has LTE with Verizon raves about their coverage. We're left with garbage. Seriously, it's absolutely pathetic.

T-Mobile
Since Januaray 25, 2013, I have had limited or no T-Mobile service in my area. When I get 3-4 miles away from my home, my service is restored to the way it is supposed to be. I was credited $12 for my issue after a week of no service but this problem is still going on. I need my phone the way it was on January 24, 2013.

Terrible reception... too many dropped calls. I am switching when contract is up in March... two more months and I am free. Had to keep land line in my house due to T-Mobile's horrible reception.

Sprint
My Sprint Nexus S drops about 2 calls per day on average. It doesn't matter where in the Indy Metro I am. The promised 4g coverage in Indy by 2009 is slowly making its way here. I've been with Sprint since 2001 and have been more disappointed as each year progresses. The poor coverage, dropped calls, and their extreme behind the time technology is going to make me switch if I don't see a dramatic change in 6 months. The data plan has been the only thing keeping with them. The big boys of Verizon and AT&T are probably worth the extra cost with the lack of headache.

Sprint
Cannot talk inside my home. Sprint map says coverage is "good". They must be in a hot air balloon over my house. Have to talk outside and unable to use phone for professional work due to unreliability.

AT&T
Meridian Kessler / Butler Tarkington has always had poor reception. From the beginning of cell phone use, there has never been enough coverage no matter what phone or provider used.

Sprint
I have a 4G Iphone and might as well not have any data plan at all because the only time I can use the data part of my phone is when I am on a wi-fi network somewhere. We were told we could bring the phones back within 15 days of purchase if we were dissatisfied. We brought them in on the 15th day and were told we could not return them or any of the accessories we bought. The unlimited data plan seemed like a great plan, but since we can't ever use it, we might as well not even have it. We NEVER had connectivity issues with Verizon in Indianapolis or anywhere else we traveled (all over the country). We are waiting for the upgrade to 4G in the coming months (when we happened to be near Fishers one day, which does have 4G, our phones worked fabulously) and if that doesn't improve the situation, we will pay to cancel our contract and move on!

Sprint
I've been with Sprint since 1997. Up until a couple of years ago their customer service was horrible... as far as attitudes and willingness to help. For the last 2.5 years my data service has been poor, but now I can't even make or receive calls at my house. They say they are taking down and putting up new and stronger towers nationwide, and there will be problems at times due to this. This process isn't due for completion until January or February. However, according to their map we currently should have "best" coverage. How is that possible? We had a trial IPhone 4, and the service was no better, so it was returned. We will stick with Sprint, remove data and cut back on shared minutes and get a landline until this gets cleared up. If not, I guess we'll have to try another carrier.

Sprint
Love my cellphone (the Nexus S) but had to terminate contract early because the voice and data service was so bad. Resorted to Skype calls when I was home, and couldn't accomplish much without WiFi in the office. I really really wanted to stay with Sprint, wanted to support the anti-Verizon and anti-AT&T, have unlimited data, and for what it's worth, I did really like Sprint's customer service. But you know, the know phone service was garbage.

I live in Village Farms Subdivision. I have great reception and can even make and receive calls in my basement that has no windows. Verizon is the best. I used to have Cingular which is now AT&T and I had to go to the window above my kitchen sink and stand on my head with my right forefinger in my nose just to make a call.

Very little to no bars while inside the complex. The second you live and hut ditch rd. reception is fine again. Its hard to send and recieve texts with pictures. Sometimes I don't ever get a text that was sent to my phone. Frequently miss phone calls but get the voice mail later on. Internet is extremely slow.

AT&T
Drop a rare call; Sometimes need to go near window for better reception. Interestingly, bars go up if you close open applications you are not using: Slide bar to open then press and hold bottom button until open apps are seen at the bottom of the screen as a row of icons. To close the open apps, press and hold one of the open icons until it wiggles then tap the little "x" in the corner of the icons. Turning off the phone will not turn off the applications that are open. This will definitely increase speed of incoming data as well. Gotta love the genius bar!

Sprint
Little to no signal. Travel in any direction from this point and your signal increases. Contacted Sprint multiple times and was told that the "Fair" signal that their web site verifies is not enough to get out of my contract. Even though I never asked to get out of my contract.. all I want is Sprint to fix their network coverage in this area.
