Verizon
I have reception in and out of my house. Although all services are not available to me (vcast music) inside my house, I love the fact that I can get a good signal inside large department stores. Cingular never did that! I also believe that the 'weak spots' in my house are due to the siding on my house. I am going to try a booster and see if it improves. If not, I am still happy with Verizon.

Won't work inside or outside of the house 90% of the time.

For the last 2 months my Cingular coverage has been terrible for both my wife and I, especially around home but it fluctuates all over.

Travelling west on 10 Mile Rd.. Nextel drops my call just past Southfield Rd. every single time. It is extremely annoying!

I have yet to get a consistant reception rate. I have dropped calls on almost all calls that I make or receive. This would include calls that are made in close range. When I say close range, I mean just outside of my own door. I have had calls that never ring through and they go immediately to the answering mode and I have to call the person back. Yes, I've checked to make sure that the ring tone is up to the maximum setting. I have been consistantly disappointed with Cingular and will be changing my carrier as soon as my contract is up!

I have been a Cingular customer forever (remember Cellular One?) and have lived in the same house since before there were cell phones. I have noticed that with each phone upgrade, results vary significantly. The best reception I ever received was with a Motorola T120 (analog). That was four phones ago. The minute Cingular went digital, I had varying results--most of them very poor. The Pinecrest corridor from 8 Mile to 9 1 / 2 is terrible, but somewhat improved with my new Razr. I was told when Cingular merges towers with ATT that reception in this area would improve but the rep verified with my new phone purchase that it hasn't happened in the area yet. The **worst** phone I ever had I just got rid of after 1.5 years. It was a Motorola V220. Dropped calls ALL THE TIME. Never could complete one call and if I was on more than a minute, forget it. Prior to that I had a Motorola T720 and it was second in reception to the T120. I live in Ferndale and work in Livonia and go just about everywhere in metro Detroit. Most of my calls and problems stem from the south Oakland County Woodward corridor since that's where I'm making most of my calls, but there are significant problems everywhere!

Much better than Nextel or Sprint. Full strength in and out of house. Works on WSU campus... Nextel switches over to "Telus" they're Candian counterpart.

No problems with Sprint I never drop a call and it works at my house, in the basement, and even up north.

I get up to 4 bars in my house and even if I get 2 bars it does not reflect my call quality which is excellent. Over my mothers house we're good coverage is scarce I get up to 3 bars and now on my weekends I can talk all day without a dropped call. Its like having a landline phone portably. T-Mobile I'm " Getting More from life"
