Horrible service altogether. Dropped calls while traveling and never had reception at home. When I called to say something they told me I had never dropped a call, they knew this because they checked their log. They refused to do anything so I cancelled their service, switched to Verizon and have never been happier about cancelling a service.

Have amazing coverage with Verizon. Had I wireless before and didn't know what great service or what true 4g was until I switched. Have great reception indoors and out. Plus their customer service was very quick to help the one time I did have an issue.

3-4 bars inside my home. Outside = full reception. Data speeds on HSPA (aka fake 4G) are really good. Tech said LTE to roll out in CR end of OCT 2013

Two months ago I went from almost full bars in my home to 2 or less. I can't make a phone call without it dropping every few minutes. Sometimes text message take 2-3 attempts to go through. If I am a few blocks away at the store, I have no issues. Sprint will offer to refund for services I pay for and had no issues with up until a few months ago. BAD BAD company.

I drop calls and have to resend text messages several times before they go through. Data is very slow. On the other hand, Center Point rd and Boyson has 4 bars and 4G, so maybe it is getting better.

We have various phone makes and models, Nokia will get a couple bars, IPhone 4 has no service at my home. Called customer service and they said they were going to start some work tickets on the problem and call back on thursday 4 / 11 / 13. No call back. They said a new tower is to be built in Mt Vernon, no completion date given, she said that should help. Also I could buy some kind of booster for $199. Thats a poor option. My solution is for them to let me out of my contract penalty free since THEY cannot provide the service that they claim they can provide. Thanks,

Sprint service is garbage. This is 2012 and my phone cant even load a MOBILE OPTIMZED website without wifi. I dont understand how they are getting any customers. Take some of the marketing money, build more towers and make my phone usable.

Verizon

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | 22nd St. SE | 5th Ave.SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403 |

Reception is 2 bars, non-3g, non-4g, on a device with CDMA(3G) and LTE(4G) enabled. This area is between two towers, and for a bit I could get 3G coverage and 4G if I enabled that functionality. I don't have need of 4G very much so usually leave that disabled as LTE functionality seems to use a lot of power. Typically 3G is good for CR and my phone uses, but lately in the last week, signal strength has fallen off. I need to get Verizon to verify my phone has not developed a problem, but from what I can tell 3G and 4G across Linn county is having problems. Come on Verizon Wireless, live up to your advertizing of "hear me now" and make good coverage possible everyplace. Personally I think someone needs to take the cell phone carriers to task for gap between their advertized coverage, and what we end up realistically having. It is very frustrating. Not to mention I've gone through three androids to get a good one... Motorola Droid Max (power issues, used 30 day swap policy), HTC Rezound (continuous restart problem, warrenty swap), HTC Rezound (still working, have to reset it from time to time though by pulling the battery).
