There is about a 12 mile stretch north of Mt. Pleasant with no service at all. The sony Ericsson phone is allmost 2 yrs. old it is hard to hear any conversation plus I get alot of background gargle while when talkingWas this review helpful to you?
Considering the LG 6000 is digital only, and South of Mt vernon rd is always a troublesome area. I have had absolutely no issues. With a tri-mode Verizon phone I dropped calls constantly. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor reception began 7 / 20 / 05 in this area of town (NE area of Cedar Rapids, IA). Many dropped calls and switching between Analog, Roaming, and Sprint Digital (default). Have opened two trouble tickets with Sprint with no resolution, status, or follow-up on status. I have called every two weeks with the same repsponse, "Ticket is still open and being worked." Very frustrated with lackluster service and response. Note: Verizon, US Cellular, and others seem to work very well in this area and in our home. Definately a Sprint problem. Was this review helpful to you?
Just switched to US Cellular and I have had great reception with this phone at this location. When I was with IWS all the Motorola phones had very poor reception here and had many dropped calls. If with IWS stick with a Nokia. If you are with US Cellular the Motorola works great all around town. Was this review helpful to you?

When I had the connection it was good (4-5 bars). But I would drop calls every 10-15 minutes. Coverage was okay elswhere in Iowa, at least on the major highways. But, overall, Verizon coverage is much better. So I'm going back to Verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
