Phone shows anywhere between 1 and 3 bars. Tried calling my GF 7 times and it wouldn't even ring one time, just dropped. Moved from the East side which had zero problems. Quality is bad too. What gives?

Have been a U.S. Cellular customer since the days of the flip phone and NEVER had a dropped call anywhere in Wisconsin or the US. Wait, there was one time at a golf club in Arizona about twelve years ago. Customer service is excellent and pricing is very competitive. Don't know why anyone would choose another provider.

I was going to say "Average" but reading other reviews on how bad it is out there, I'll stick with "Good." I want to shop for potential new service (T-mobile over 55 plan) or Verizon's fixed data... but even saving $20-30-more per month would get old if calls get dropped or now received... useful info on this site, but makes me hesitant to change!

Cell signal has been weak lately and garbled. I have to walk around my house to try and catch a strong signal. This area on all carriers tends to be weak. They need to add towers in the Wedgewood park area. All the towers are 3 / 4 smile al around me but nothing in the middle.

Reception by my house used to be amazing even with 2 or 3 bars. Now I can have 4 bars but still not be able to browse. Often kicks me off to 3G. Bought an amplifier, and now I get blazing speeds around 35 Mbps, but it still kicks me off to 3G frequently.
