US Cellular

I've used US Cellular for 5 years now and have had very few issues come up. Any problems I did have were quickly resolved by their great customer service. Reception has been perfect since I bought the Razr in March '06. Have traveled to different parts of the country and still had very good reception. My only complaint is that the phone selection is slightly lagging behind other providers and the cost is sometimes a little higher. But if you want great overall service and a satisfying experience, US Cellular is the way to go!

Live in Orchard Hills. Can't call home. Bad coverage. Dropped calls. T-Mobile was just as bad. My wife's Sprint is woking well.

I hate my service. I have 0 or 1 bar in my home. I have so many dropped calls it's rediculous. I can be driving on 894 and lose calls. Their customer service is no help at all. They keep sending "software updates"that have no effect. I can not wait to be rid of them. 4 months and counting. My husband drives for his job and hits so many dead spots it's unbelievable. They are supposed to be so great, we think they suck. When we had AT&T the reception was awesome. Cingular took over and now my phone is worthless most times. We have dropped calls, very delayed messages (more than an hour after someone calls we'll get the voicemail for a call that never rang). Our phones are crap, but in order to upgrade we have to sigh up for another 2 years. There are 2 chances of that happening: none and not a chance in h*ll. If Cingular was the only cell phone company available, I would cancel service and go back to land lines. The most pathetic thing is that there is a Cingular store on the corner, not 1 mile from my home.

I normally get one shaky bar right by my picture window. Yesterday I had to drive a few miles before I got any reception. This is a very bad area to have T-Mobile. It's a shame because their customer service is really excellent, but I constantly lose calls all over the country.

Cingular is horrible in oak creek. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Cingular is bad, just bad. Dropped calls everywhere. Works great out of state but in SE Wisconsin forget it. This is the 2nd company I've tried. No luck with US Cellular either. Looking at Sprint or Verizon next as I won't go back to either based on their poor customer service when I tried to cancel.

T-Mobile has very little to no reception in this area of town. We have two lines of service and two different phones and for the most part I cannot make phone calls in my home and need to run outside to be able to hold a call. The signal strenght fluctuates constantly and most of my incoming calls don't even ring on our two lines they just go directly to voicemail because. T-Mobile has been the most unhelpful -- insisting that they provide adequate service in the area. BTW, when you make a service complaint all they do is just look it up on their little map to see if they "provide service" where you live and / or if there are any major intteruptions. Since they don't actually come out and try and make a phone call from where you are having issues they will always tell you that they are providing satisfactory service and not offer to help further.

No signal pickup along I43 going north. Does Verizon serve this area?

I just a new Motorola Q to hopefully get better reception, but it is still horrible. Verizon has horrible coverage in Milwaukee.

I have been a customer of Verizon and Primeco before that, as they were known since 1997. Have had great service nation wide, as towers have gone up in more remote locations. In the Milwaukee County area I have been very satisfied. Almost never have a busy indication when making a call. We travel a lot, I have had great reception across the country, even out in the rural areas where we were traveling. Thought about switching at time to another carrier to save a couple of dollars, but came to my senses quickly enuf.
