AT&T
Att is one of the worst companies to do business with. If you have a problem with their service and you go to the store to get it resolved the first thing they want to do is change the Sim card in the phone. Now here is where it goes from bad to worse. You will loose you numbers. They will tell that they will back them but guess what... ... you will get some but not all. BE CAREFUL. And listen real close as they well never take responsibility for their money stealing service. I have no service in my house unless I buy the 300 dollar WiFi tower that they tell I need. Why do I need it ? Because I'm between 2 of their towers. 1 is at the brown deer water tower and the other is at 8th and Bradley rd. Wait I was always told that you need 3 towers to create a good signal on a digital system... .so where is the 3rd tower? They aren't sure... ..great company.... .not so much. Milwaukee has the worst cell services in the US. I have tried all of the ccompanies except T Mobley and not going to. Hope this helps

I take the bus that goes from 68th St. to downtown using I-94. My 4G reception is pretty good. I sometimes have troubles around 35th and St. Paul, but the reception is normally good.

8 years and not a problem. I have been reading the comments and I would say I am lucky I live where I do, lol. Work in New Berlin and no problems there either. My carrier is aces.

I switched from Sprint in February, to T Mobile. I left Sprint due to very poor reception and the no contract. my decision to leave Sprint for T Mobile only made home reception worse, inside and outside. t mobile say it is the phone that I purchased a galaxy note 3. they say they can't help me. Really, you should be able to use your phone in your own house. keep your landline.

I switched to Verizon a couple months ago. The data on my Galaxy S5 is FAST. I get 4G service almost everywhere, but even the occasional 3G service is fast. The call quality is phenomenal. My only complaint is the number of dropped calls when inside buildings. Where I work on North Ave, in buildings Downtown, the Wal-Mart on Capital, and even sometimes on the UWM campus, my calls will drop when I walk into a larger building. My phone always looses service in elevators. It's frustrating. I guess the rural Wisconsin service makes up for urban Milwaukee service; however, if I never left Milwaukee I would try to find a better provider.

Reception has gotten much worse. Been with Verizon for 8 years. Every call drops unless I'm hanging my head out my upstairs window. Truly believe as the Medical Center gets bigger I won't be able to use my cell phone at home. Extremely frustrating.

Multiple dropped calls, zero signal... . Horrible reception!

Using straight talk with Verizon towers, I get little to no reception at the house or elsewhere in the area. The same occurred in Palatine IL.

The service sucks in the area. I get between 1-2 bars in the house and the if I'm lucky. The phone is slow and with the new contract with At&T the service has gotten even slower.

Sprint was honestly not that bad. Everywhere I went, I almost always got all my bars. Service NEVER dropped inside buildings and elevators, which was very nice. Text messages always came in on time. The call quality, on the other hand, was an issue. Often I would have to hang up the phone because people couldn't understand me, which was weird because I would have all my bars. Once I redialed, the call went through perfectly. Connecting to the internet was not always reliable, again weird because I always had 4G LTE Coverage. I think the network was frequently overloaded. I have since switched to Verizion for better nationwide coverage and call quality. However, if you never leave the city, Sprint is a fair choice.
