T-Mobile customer service confirmed what I already knew - they do not have service in Door County! Was this review helpful to you?
Sometimes calls come through but I had to get a land line because the service is so unreliable. Sometimes the phone doesn't ring (phone is on with ringer on) when someone tries to call me. Making calls isn't better either. I believe I'm pulling the signal from Cellcom's towers since Verizon doesn't have them here. My flip phone does work but I have a smart phone and it really doesn't work unless I drive a couple miles away from my home. Was this review helpful to you?
Usually 2 bars in deep woods. Calls occasionally drop but Verizon does not claim to offer any service in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
Good signal in Sturgeon Bay. No or Poor signal along Bay Shore Drive. Very weak signal or no signal Idlewild area. Fish Creek good signal. Major highways in area fair signal. Was this review helpful to you?
Calls come in 2 hours later, sometimes your notified they came in. Texts come in when they want to, if they do at all. Think they are sharing the tower with too many other carriers. Was good 2 years ago. now is very bad. Would not recommend. told me they were upgrading tower, be patient. Was unreliable when needed to use it for emergency calls coming in or out. When this is your only phone line, you could be in trouble here in the backwoods. Was this review helpful to you?
Most people in Door County know if you want the best coverage here you get CELLCOM. Look into it. That cell tower out on Chambers Island, Cellcom! Was this review helpful to you?
I am from Chicago on a union assignment at Bay Ship for 90 days and the phone was working fine for the most part, last use at 0230. Then this morning at 1130, incoming goes straight to vm and outgoing is "emergency calls only" and 911 does in act go through (I apologized to the 911 agent, however being 300 miles from home it was an emergency... of a personal nature! They were understanding.) My roommate here had T-Mobile and they first shudown his data after 10mb roaming on an unlimited plan and then his phone kept going into an auto shut down while roaming on "bug tussel(?)" network, whatever that is, he ended up going back to Chicago and it worked fine and switched to VZW and now has no issues nowWas this review helpful to you?
AT&T coverage is poor to non-existent in Sister Bay. Signal fades in and out, but don't depend on getting a connection at all. I need to find a more reliable service. Was this review helpful to you?
