Some 4G reception outside but only 3G or roaming indoors. OK in some of Egg Harbor but mostly poor or no reception. Need Sprint to get a tower in Door County. Verison was better but not great either. Was this review helpful to you?
Near Lake Michigan and have to go out and stand in the middle of the road to get service and that doesn't always work. Was this review helpful to you?
No cell service for data on the weekends cuz it’s so busy in this area on weekends. During the week it’s below average but at least you can get a little service. Seems like such a huge problem that they are not fixing! Rip off!Was this review helpful to you?
Using a Samsung android and an iPhone. Most calls are dropped. Signal strength is -95 to -115db most times. Tried calling Verizon customer service, was told nothing wrong with their system, get a booster or a land line. I'm tired of paying for marginal signal strength. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm adding a review here for Sprint having switched from T-Mobile. Soo much better in Sturgeon Bay than TM. I'll occasionally have a drop off to 3G but their network seems to be able to keep up pretty well. Love their cheap unlimited plan for data heavy users like me :)Was this review helpful to you?
Why do T-Mobile and MetroPCS advertise having great coverage here in Wisconsin? Once you leave Green Bay you roam on AT&T which sucks. I tried TM for a month and had to switch right away because it did not worth in Northeast Wisconsin. I hope they add towers to expand their coverage soon. I'm sure other customers are pretty disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint's coverage in Algoma can be described as decent. They have LTE on Bands 25 and 26 along with 3G from a tower located near the Algoma High School. Having used Sprint for over 2 years here, the speeds are decent, call quality is acceptable, and I have a signal most of the time in town. Once you get on Hwy. S going north, the signal drops about half way to Sturgeon Bay. If you turn to go on County Rd.U, service is not good, but that's to be expected being out in the sticks. No one works well in that area. Many previous complaints here are outdated and look to be pre band 26 LTE. Sprint is now an acceptable carrier along with their prepaid brands Virgin and Boost Mobile. 4 / 5 overall. Was this review helpful to you?
Switched to Cricket, which uses AT&T towers, over last year and coverage in Sturgeon Bay has been pretty decent. They have Band 4 and 17 LTE here as well as HSPA. 2G EDGE was recently shut down so a lot of old flip phones stopped working. My LG G4 has no issues here and data speeds are acceptable. Much better option than Sprint for coverage. Was this review helpful to you?
I have to drive 3 miles up road into marionette for service. And even in town only place with good reception is Wal-Mart parking lot. At least my old net 10 phone lets me on internet and text... Though no calls going in or outWas this review helpful to you?
Really bummed because Verizon has done nothing to improve cell reception over the last 6 years in the area along Pkwy. from Hwy. 64, all the way to Athestane. They use another carriers tower, and on most weekends, reception is below average to poor. On any busy weekend, the reception is poor to non existent, especially for data. My wife and kids have AT&T. They put up a new tower last year and their reception is very good. Come on Verizon, you're terrible and yet love to tell everyone you're great. Step it up!Was this review helpful to you?
