T-Mobile
horrible to say the least. I have brightspot though and the coverage is really horrible. I am not sure if T-Mobile is short changing Brightspot

I have US Cellular and have almost never had a problem with finding coverage of at least a minimum status, even when going to school in PA I could call and send / receive texts and emails from inside and outside any building I wanted to. Now that I moved to Minneapolis I completely lost all tower. I know I was in roaming but now my phone won't even do that, all it says is SOS instead of tower bars, and all I can do is make emergency calls from it! Clearly, you cannot have US Cellular in the Twin Cities.

Sprint's network is an absolute joke, as is their customer service. Beware! They lie. They are rude. Their answer to every problem is that "The network is being upgraded." It's been almost two years now. Biggest load of crap I've ever been handed in my life. I honestly hate them and will throw a party the day they go out of business. We are filing with the MN Attorney General's office and switching to Verizon; Sprint is a clown show run by lying crooks that would've been run out of town by an angry mob back in the day.

I have had pretty good luck with T-Mobile throughout the twin cities. Bad data coverage at work in Bloomington (494 and Hwy. 100), but otherwise I've been pretty happy. In general I've had good luck. Any issues have been data signal strength. I've never had issues with dropped calls. Friends who visit with Sprint (and I think Verizon too) have much more trouble getting reception at my house).

Terrible / awful / horrendous / are you kidding me it's so effing bad kind of data service in downtown Minneapolis. You want to do a quick google search? good luck getting a result back within any reasonable time(if you are lucky), because most likely you will get something similar to 'could not connect to internet' message. Stream music without constant stop and go? haha--u make me laugh. Despite all their promises and there constant 'working on network upgrade' messages, I don't even pretend to understand how the service can be so bad in the heart of downtown. Should it not be common sense that you plan for heavier traffic in areas like these? Is a 2 month old in the charge of planning / designing / deployment / service quality? (Apologies to all 2 month old everywhere). Why the heck am I paying oodles of money for this kind of bs service? bcos, unfortuntaly, Sprint from a monetary perspective, does offer a decent value (relatively speaking, compared to what is availble to us here in the U.S.). And there are areas where service has become usable, and even has some 4G here and there. But the whole thing with Sprint... my goodness, their network is just poopier than my 2 year old's dirtiest of the dirties diaper you can think of after a thaksgivig meal. And I am stupid, cos here I am, still waiting for their promised 'network improvement coming soon' bs. It's all my fault, really.

Sprints data and cellular service is horrendous in downtown Minneapolis. In my office internet is slow, streaming music no chance. 4G never works usually on 3G or 1X, even went to the Sprint store on Nicollet mall and a few employees complained about how bad it is as well. My work phone is Verizon and gets great data service in the same spots. Both are IPhone 5s and I hate That Sprint can't get it right thru all these promises of great plans.

Sprint sucks. Every time I make a call, the call gets dropped. I can't even get 4g in my apartment, and I only get 2 or 3 bars for 3g reception. I made the biggest mistake leaving Verizon. Once my contract is up, I am leaving.

Only one bar indoors, even by open window. Had to buy an AT&T microcell on ebay for $100 and activate it through their website. The microcell did improve signal strength as I now get 5 bars indoors, but kind of a hassle. By the way, if you buy a new microcell from AT&T it will cost you $200! At least there is no monthly fee - that would have been a deal breaker for me.

Lousy, losing valuable business over this problem. I am so frustrated and cannot believe the incompetence of this company.

3G / 4G data service is HIGHLY unreliable and almost non existent when using streaming programs like Pandora, Youtube any other music app. Even when I am trying to check my Instagram I cannot pick up a good steady signal. Being stuck at work for 9hour days with no wi-fi provided by work, I rely on my phone to relax during breaks / lunch, which really sucks and makes the day even longer! I also have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that is perfect for games and music but can only listen to songs that I have on the phone. What a waste of money! Go with Verizon or AT&t because their towers must be interfering heavily with my provider (Sprint)
