In my basement, I am the only one out of all my friends who get coverage, (they have T-Mobile and verizon). I get good reception way out miles away from ely. I am happy with the coverage, but I hate Sprint as a company! Horrible! Was this review helpful to you?
Alway loose connection. Has been like this forever. T mobile customers should get a refund. Was this review helpful to you?
Unbelievably poor reception througout neighborhood from Lake Nokomis to Minnehaha Falls Park. Was this review helpful to you?
Cingular had great reception last year. What happened? I have very, very poor reception in my hood (the higest natural point in all of Mpls!). Dropped calls in the home or yard are the norm. Goodbye soon, Cingular! Customer service is so so. They tell you to cycle your phone on and off to reset how it searches for towers (doesn't help), but if you complain, they'll comp you for some minutes. Note to Cingular: Raise the rates, if you have to, but if you don't increase the coverage, I'm gone. Your Cendant discount (Coldwell Banker Burnet) means NOTHING if your network drops 3 out of 4 calls! Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon works well for me everywhere but in my neighborhood. I can't use the phone at home at all.Was this review helpful to you?
My reception is so bad that I find myself forced to go outdoors to talk. I live in a tall tower, but everyone else I know here has a cell and fewer problems. I get a loud whir sometimes, clicks, and also some weird problems like voicemail and text messages taking hours to come through. I am shopping for new service and have been so burned that I think I will stick with pay-as-you go because if my new phone is this crummy, I will have to get out of my contract. It's just not worth it.Was this review helpful to you?
Coverage is very poor in east Richfield, conversations often get garbled. Live in north Mpls, and coverage varies in my house. I actually got better call quality driving through South Dakota recently! Was this review helpful to you?
I recently moved from Ohio to Golden Valley, MN. In Ohio, my Cingular reception was perfect. Never had a problem at work, at home, on the move. Since arriving in Minnesota, my reception has been the worst I've ever experienced in the country (and I travel a lot!) I've contacted Cingular twice, and each time some moron, who thinks he's smarter than me, had tried to give me his sales speech on tower improvements currently in the works, and how AT&T put up that towner that Cingular is currenlty working to convert, etc. It's BS. Cingular does not have its act together in MN; And I'm so disappointed. I have had 6 great years in Ohio. Now, I'm switching ASAP to a carrier with BARS!Was this review helpful to you?
cingular will claim in commercial they have the lowest drop. but that is far from truth in my experience. I primary use my phone in home around 24th and 10 street minneapolis, I dont get any reception inside home. and I have to come out. it a nightmare.. I call Cingular I was told I am in No reception Zone. I will have know from from the begining Cingular does not quarantee you will get reception. So stay a way from Cingular if you are using your phone in around downtown minneapolis. I changed to verizon. I am happy now I got perfect reception. I regret I way I went to Cingular ;;; stay away.. once they sign you, you end up end with useless phone. Was this review helpful to you?
Have had T-Mobile in uptown for 5 years. Consistently excellent signal, even around the lakes. The only dead spot is the basement in Williams Peanut Bar!Was this review helpful to you?
