T-Mobile
Great reception + wifi calling available. Cheap service in comparison and great network speeds.

Have had Verizon for years and experienced decent coverage. The past year it's gotten dramatic worse. I now get spotty coverage in my own house! Data is even worse. We have a robust wireless connection in our house, but it takes 5 minutes or more to load a webpage on my phone. And I have plenty of data usage left on the phone. It's ridiculous that our bills have gone up as our quality of coverage has gone down the toilet.

Have had ATT for 7+ years with 4+ bars. Recently however service has degraded to 1-2 bars and then now none. At a visit to the MOA ATT store they tried to sell me a micro tower $175 and even showed me how many of my neighbors had succumbed to such poor service and also bought one. (Wtf?) No thanks. Will switch to a carrier that just deliveries what promised - Cell phone service.

Tmobile is ok for in the city. I use an HTC One M8. For some reason, coverage is spotty in parts of Richfield and somewhat along HWY 62 as well. For the most part though, if you're only using your phone within city limits things are great. I know T-Mobile said they expanded to Northern MN, but I was just up by St. Croix St. Park and the guy with Verizon got a signal and I didn't. Last weekend I went SE and camped at Frontenac St. Park. It was a similar situation- my girlfriend was streaming You Tube videos with Sprint, and I couldn't even get my music to stream with TMob. After 14 years of being a loyal customer, I can't deal with it anymore and am making the switch.

Must use the m-cell to get cell phone reception in my house. Phone works if I get 300 feet from my house but not in the house.

We just moved and realized that we have no reception in a couple of blocks for Internet and it cuts off if you are on a call. Now we are trying to find what company will provide a good signal. No Verizon for us!

In the building, I occasionally can't get a call or internet. But, I am happy with the service where I live and travel.

I have had T-Mobile for 10 years and have had little to no issues with service. Sure, coverage was limited back in the day, but since the expansion and addition of Wide-band LTE and Low-band 700mHtz, I can honestly say my service is better than any of the other providers. Even when I'm out in the boonies, I am covered. Not to mention the worldwide data and text--amazing for travel! T-Mobile gets an A+ in my book.

Everyone who lives in a stucco house in Minneapolis (which is a lot of people) needs to realize that they are in a metal cage. Metal cages aren't condusive to letting high frequency radio waves pass through them.

It is astounding that Verizon continues to have no reception in the heart of the most affluent neighborhood in Minneapolis. Yet this remains the case and has been the case for years. In the Kenwood neighborhood and all around Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles, Sprint has a virtual monopoly because Verizon refuses to fix this known issue. I have Verizon for work (no choice) and they have repeatedly stated, for three years now, that this is a known issue and will be addressed, yet nothing happens. If they would increase coverage in this neighborhood they would immediately obtain many accounts for those who travel, since overall Verizon has better coverage in the rural midwest and for those who travel to other states.
