T-Mobile
Tmobile is ok for in the city. I use an HTC One M8. For some reason, coverage is spotty in parts of Richfield and somewhat along HWY 62 as well. For the most part though, if you're only using your phone within city limits things are great. I know T-Mobile said they expanded to Northern MN, but I was just up by St. Croix St. Park and the guy with Verizon got a signal and I didn't. Last weekend I went SE and camped at Frontenac St. Park. It was a similar situation- my girlfriend was streaming You Tube videos with Sprint, and I couldn't even get my music to stream with TMob. After 14 years of being a loyal customer, I can't deal with it anymore and am making the switch.

Must use the m-cell to get cell phone reception in my house. Phone works if I get 300 feet from my house but not in the house.

We just moved and realized that we have no reception in a couple of blocks for Internet and it cuts off if you are on a call. Now we are trying to find what company will provide a good signal. No Verizon for us!

I have had T-Mobile for 10 years and have had little to no issues with service. Sure, coverage was limited back in the day, but since the expansion and addition of Wide-band LTE and Low-band 700mHtz, I can honestly say my service is better than any of the other providers. Even when I'm out in the boonies, I am covered. Not to mention the worldwide data and text--amazing for travel! T-Mobile gets an A+ in my book.

Everyone who lives in a stucco house in Minneapolis (which is a lot of people) needs to realize that they are in a metal cage. Metal cages aren't condusive to letting high frequency radio waves pass through them.

It is astounding that Verizon continues to have no reception in the heart of the most affluent neighborhood in Minneapolis. Yet this remains the case and has been the case for years. In the Kenwood neighborhood and all around Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles, Sprint has a virtual monopoly because Verizon refuses to fix this known issue. I have Verizon for work (no choice) and they have repeatedly stated, for three years now, that this is a known issue and will be addressed, yet nothing happens. If they would increase coverage in this neighborhood they would immediately obtain many accounts for those who travel, since overall Verizon has better coverage in the rural midwest and for those who travel to other states.

Constantly experiencing dropped calls. The problem has been going on for a number of months. No cell phone service at all at work - other people don't have the same problem with their carrier. No internet service - unless I use wi-fi.

We have had outstanding cell service in our home for years. No dropped calls and very fast 4G. Love our Verizon service, hate the very high price. We also have very good service every where with the exception of our farm in SE MN. There kind of spotty without a cell booster.

Sprint has very patchy network, not as promised when I signed up. Please beware of that. Customer service is very bad. For instance, I couldn't access my account online and Sprint customer service gave me the run around so I did all transactions over the phone even though that's not what I wanted. I wanted an upgrade to an iPhone 6 and my previous contract could not count towards it, bear in mind I would be paying the same amount that I did for the 4S and it would require to sign another 2 yr contract..considering the bad service I'd had, I finally decided I'd had enough and skipped the network but they still gave me grief, customer service asked me why I needed my account information when I needed to transfer over to another carrier-something other networks would give to the customer, they gave me grief with my final bill talking about it will take them 5-7 business days to send it out even after requesting two weeks earlier for it, so altogether it took them 3 wks to send a piece of paper..even snail mail is not that slow! The customer service reps were rude too, I'd ask for something and they'd ramble on about something else trying to evade my question hoping I'll forget. Hello! I'm not a toddler you can distract momentarily. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this network to anyone, it only gets worse!

Generally very good reception and service on my iPhone. However, AT&T customer service is abysmal. They are dishonest about upgrades, international travel, overpriced and try to convince you to accept plans that are overpriced. I would switch to Credo mobile in a heartbeat if the reviews for Sprint service were better as they use Sprint lines.
