T-Mobile
Terrible, terrible, terrible. Have had T-Mobile for 12 years and had no issues in mpls or near west suburbs. We just moved to south Minneapolis and I can't make a call inside my house without using wifi calling. Unfortunately, I have htc phones, which are awful at wifi... with abysmal coverage and customer service, I am looking to move networks and get an iPhone!

I recently contacted the BBB to hopefully help sort things out with Sprint. After missing 3 important phone calls this week, it was a customer service rep who told me I live in a half mile low coverage bubble. They wanted to send out something called an "Air-wave" but that only helps if I'm trying to use the phone inside the house. I carry my phone on walks around the neighborhood and don't want to be restricted to only using the phone within so many feet of my modem in the house. Pretty ridiculous for $75 / month. Plus, I already have a home line and a laptop so what's the point? $350 to get out of a contract when it's Sprint who can't hold up their end of the deal doesn't seem fair.

In doors signal is absolutely garbage. Once out side its a tich better. But with how heavily populated DT is we need another tower CLOSE badly, 4G signal is terrible...

I am thinking about switching providers because I hardly ever have good or perfect service in minneapolis.

All kinds of terrible. Calls dropped every few minutes. Sometimes I don't get text messages for hours. Switching to Sprint next week.

Was told troubleshooting found problem with tower and the solution was to downgrade service to 2g / edge. No guarantee on service due to downgrade, but would not allow me out of contract as there is "no guarantee of service." Mind boggling "customer service." Sell you a steak, feed you a peanut butter sandwich.

Since the May 22nd Tornado, calls in progress are getting dropped all the time. Reception is good, but in the middle of a conversation, the calls drop. My friend was using his new LG phone, carrier Tracfone, but powered by At&T. Maybe this is the problem, the tower wasn't replaced or maybe the one that services the area needs to be stronger. My friend's main complaint is when he enters his home, his calls are lost. Perhaps this report / comment helps. Thank You. Sincerely, Cherie J.

I just switched to a new Galaxy Nexus 4g phone and have more dropped calls all over the Twin Cities area than I have in all my years of cell phone usage since 1997. Absolutely horrible service. I highly recommend staying away from this particular set up. I am about to go to the mat with these charlatans and their silly 4g nonsense. What a joke.
