Sprint
Sprint is unusable downtown! Each time I call customer service for an update on the so-called 'tower upgrades', they tell me all will be fixed in (then they tell me a date 2 months out)... never fails! Today I'm canceling.. enough is enough! Sprint... You are dead to me! Dropped Calls... Check No Data... Check Clueless Customer Service... . Check Rude Customer Service... .. Check Dead to Me?... .. Check!

horrible to say the least. I have brightspot though and the coverage is really horrible. I am not sure if T-Mobile is short changing Brightspot

I have had T-Mobile for 2 years now and have had no issues with reception or data. I typically avg are 26 down. I stay in the greater twin cities area and there for the most part is no problem. They have a dead spot few and far between. The issues is when you live the heavily populated areas but I don't so, for where I spend my time T-Mobile is great.

Sprint is absolutly terrible! Anyone looking to get a phone, do not waste your money with this company, always loosing connection, no service, not getting texts or calls for a couple days. Same problems each month, also terrible customer service! The workers do not help at all, and do not show any concern with my phones problems. I cant wait til the xontract is up, definently going to verizon, the only reliable network that has never let me down in the past.

I have US Cellular and have almost never had a problem with finding coverage of at least a minimum status, even when going to school in PA I could call and send / receive texts and emails from inside and outside any building I wanted to. Now that I moved to Minneapolis I completely lost all tower. I know I was in roaming but now my phone won't even do that, all it says is SOS instead of tower bars, and all I can do is make emergency calls from it! Clearly, you cannot have US Cellular in the Twin Cities.

We've had Sprint for years and because the service has gotten so terrible, we're dropping our service with Sprint. I can't even count how many dropped calls I get every day (on the road in the metro area and at home). Lot's of promises from Sprint about upgrading their coverage but it's been terrible for quite some time. Everyone I'm talking to just knows that when the call drops, I'll call them again (and again, and again, and again... ). No more, we're switching to Verizon.

Terrible / awful / horrendous / are you kidding me it's so effing bad kind of data service in downtown Minneapolis. You want to do a quick google search? good luck getting a result back within any reasonable time(if you are lucky), because most likely you will get something similar to 'could not connect to internet' message. Stream music without constant stop and go? haha--u make me laugh. Despite all their promises and there constant 'working on network upgrade' messages, I don't even pretend to understand how the service can be so bad in the heart of downtown. Should it not be common sense that you plan for heavier traffic in areas like these? Is a 2 month old in the charge of planning / designing / deployment / service quality? (Apologies to all 2 month old everywhere). Why the heck am I paying oodles of money for this kind of bs service? bcos, unfortuntaly, Sprint from a monetary perspective, does offer a decent value (relatively speaking, compared to what is availble to us here in the U.S.). And there are areas where service has become usable, and even has some 4G here and there. But the whole thing with Sprint... my goodness, their network is just poopier than my 2 year old's dirtiest of the dirties diaper you can think of after a thaksgivig meal. And I am stupid, cos here I am, still waiting for their promised 'network improvement coming soon' bs. It's all my fault, really.

Sprint in the last year has became the worst phone company around. Twice now I have contacted Sprint customer care complaining about my service to which they say they are upgrading the towers. I was infomred twice that I would receive a follow up phone call within 24-48 hours. 1 week later and I'm still waiting for that phone call. Almost every call is dropped, friends say they texted me and show me they did, but I never get the text and Sprint customer care is poor. I am paying the early termination fee and going to Verizon. Everyone should join me in dropping Sprint as they SUCK! P.S. I was a Sprint customer for 13+ years so it's not like anyone can say I had a bad day...

Sprints data and cellular service is horrendous in downtown Minneapolis. In my office internet is slow, streaming music no chance. 4G never works usually on 3G or 1X, even went to the Sprint store on Nicollet mall and a few employees complained about how bad it is as well. My work phone is Verizon and gets great data service in the same spots. Both are IPhone 5s and I hate That Sprint can't get it right thru all these promises of great plans.

Only one bar indoors, even by open window. Had to buy an AT&T microcell on ebay for $100 and activate it through their website. The microcell did improve signal strength as I now get 5 bars indoors, but kind of a hassle. By the way, if you buy a new microcell from AT&T it will cost you $200! At least there is no monthly fee - that would have been a deal breaker for me.
