2 yrs ago had reception=4. Since last year have 1 or 2, currently 1. Drop calls are 20-25%. Virtually EVERY call involves the other party asking me to call back on a landline! (which I do not have). We ask each other to repeat on almost every sentence. I run outside and stand in the road to get sufficient reception to have a conversation. PCS internet normally hangs during downloads. Customer service responded to complaints by starting a new contract with o warning and increasing price while removing features. Was this review helpful to you?

CIngular reception in this area is terrible. I recommend dumping them as soon as possible if you have this carrier and spend any amount of time in the area. Was this review helpful to you?
phone calls drop every 10 minutes. it is as if the phone company tracks how long you are talking. when you reach 10 minutes the phone call is over. reception bars go up and down dramatically during a phone call from 5 to 1 to dropped call. horrible. Was this review helpful to you?
Never Drop calls with this phone. Occasionally dropped calls with old Verizon Phone but newer phones work great. Was this review helpful to you?
Great reception! Rarly have a droped call or problem. I just wish Verizon wasn't the last to get every BlackBerry. Was this review helpful to you?
Toward the end of 2006 Cingular claimed to have updated their network. My reception seems better but there are times I get a bad connection. Bottom line is, it's a cell phone, if you want a perfect call use a land line. ERBWas this review helpful to you?
Spotty reception at best. Not sure if I expect too much. Is wanting it to work in my house too much? That was not sarcasm. Was this review helpful to you?
I've had my cell with Verizon for nearly two years now and never had a problem with dropped calls or reception. Mostly if I lose a call it's because I have a low battery or inside an elevator but otherwise fine from home and work. Which by the way I'm in the southwest suburbs and work right by LaGrange Ave and I55 and reception is just fine. My plan is up for renewal this summer and I'm not going to switch. However, I have noticed that when I talk with people with Cingular I can't hear them well... it's very warbled. I like to think that Cingular sucks but I don't have a problem talking to other cell carriers. Maybe it's the cell phone itself. NOKIA / RAZORs are notorious for sounding like crap. Was this review helpful to you?
