I generally have decent reception here (home) and in the area; voice quality varies. Sometimes, text messages seem to get "stuck" for a while before it's finally delivered. Also, we've had issues with data overage. AT&T's own measurements are inconsistent and often significantly vary from what our phone states. AT&T reps seem to have little understanding of how AT&T measures data. They've also told me that sometimes cell data gets used even if you're on WiFi.Was this review helpful to you?

For the last 2 years I have called AT&T about dropped calls daily from this location. I had issues with a blackberry, iPhone 3, and iPhone 4. Every time I have called I too was told there were no outages and that I needed to update the software on my phone and turn it off and on. This tactic allows them to get off the phone with you and not deal with you anymore. Now I call and say I've turned my phone off, updated, upgraded and anything else the recommend that it is no longer an issue on my end. Since I only work in this area by the time I actually speak to a live person I'm home and on another tower. I did find it entertaining that they told me the tower by my yorkville home has had an issue since 10 / 2012 and as of 3 / 19 / 2013 was an outstanding and unresolved issue. Even the customer support staff seemed surprised. Time to move on for me.Was this review helpful to you?

Verizon keeps customers in the dark in regards to their 3g network. So many towers yet I have constant errors especially in regards to my location. when I look at a map, it usually puts me on top of the closest cell phone tower instead of triangle eating my position using the signal and the GPSWas this review helpful to you?
