US Cellular
Got my letter today that us cellular sold me. I have been with them since before they had that name. I even tolerated them when they renamed my ballpark! Never had a problem with service, can't believe they sold me out. Can I still have a us cellular account outside of the Midwest? If service was the same, I would gladly figure out a way!

Switched from beloved U.S. Cell because I heard they were leaving. After 4 months of dropped calls, no data and missed texts I'm willing to pay the $200 early termination fee just to rid myself of this headache. 98% of the time I cannot make a phone call from within my house, the other 2% I have to sit in a certain position just to make the call and then a few minutes later it drops. Never had a connection problem inside my house with U.S. Cell. When I'm downtown I develop the robot, crackling voice. Internet varies from murderously slow to non existent. I switched to T-Mobile because of the good price for unlimited everything, might as well have burned my money. Will be thrilled when I get rid of this sh!t service.

Fantastic service. Have been with U S Celular since it was called PrimCo. And now the rumor that U S Celular will be taken over by monopoly of poorly rated company. Good things come to an end. I wonder if I will find another great service. It was a long good ride. Thanks for the best ride.

My Sprint service was fine until they decided to upgrate to 4G LTE. Now I have spotty service downtown. When I'm standing still using my data connection, it will go from 4G to 3G to no data service all in the blink of an eye. The service is also horrible up and down State St.(from Wacker to Balbo). I recently requested for them to check the nearest tower. If it's not fixed soon I'll have to break my contract (family plan). Also, coworkers with the same phone (but with Verizon service) have excellent service.

Slow or no internet sitting in my car on the streets of Franklin and Madison in the Chicago loop. Glad I don't live near here. Would not be an AT&T customer if I did. Reading some of the other reviews of other carriers it doesn't seem like anyone gets decent internet in the loop. Once I leave the area internet speeds go up drastically. No problem making phone calls only web surfing is brutal. C'mon carriers fix the problem!

I experience drop calls, internet is slow and now the Tower issue have calls coming to my phone from all over the U.S. So much for mobile phones.

Verizon with iPhone 4 3G service cannot hold signal on train. I pay for service precisely to use on train.

As an employee (soon to be axed) of US Cellular, I feel for our customers. I never had our service until I actually worked here and I can honestly say it's like night and day vs other carriers I've used in the past... not just based on personal opinion but in listening to customers who come in the store saying how wonderful our service has been over the years. I hope all US Cellular users are prepared for the rude awakening right around the corner. Outside of AT&T, I've been a customer of all the other major carriers. I see comments here by current USCC customers and I can sympathize with their concern. I've had issues with all of them and Sprint ranks #1 on my sh!t list. Looking for a place to go? The best answer I can provide is Verizon. They're the only carrier even remotely close to our ratings in phone service. But don't jump ship just yet... there's a half-million of you all in the same boat. And where there's a large exodus, major offers are sure to come from rivals to steal that business. Wait for the right offer from your desired carrier. We're not closing our doors just yet and you have plenty of time to find the right deal.

It says that I have full signal, yet I am completely unable to make calls or send texts. Incoming phone calls don't come through, and texts take hours to show up. Oddly, data works fine.
