Sprint
There is a major dead spot in Evanston for the Sprint network right where I live by Willard School.

No bar and completely no reception in Tech Building. One bar at the outside of the building.

I have a lot of calls get dropped and I'm lucky if I have reception in my unit of my low rise just east of California. It's traditional construction, so there's no apparent reason for the bad reception.

I was lucky if I got one bar at the window in my building at 200 N Jefferson. It was AWFUL. It may have been the building, but there's no excuse for this kind of reception in downtown. Bad, bad, bad.

When I got reception my calls dropped about every 5 minutes and I usually had to sit by the window to get any sort of reliable signal. I lived in a high rise so I suspect that it was the building, but when I spoke with customer service (which is usually INCREDIBLE) they weren't any help and they said that their systems showed that the signal was fine so I had to pay to break my contract. :-(

my bars go to 2 or 3 inside my house.Im having trouble getting text messages and sending them

I have to redial the same number 4 or 5 times before it completes the call. I really want to switch to Spring and get a Palm Pre, but my entire family is on AT&T in Michigan (where service is fine) so switching networks would eat up my minutes.

ATT drops more calls than a Bear's receiver drops passes. For a company that merged two inventory's (Cingular and ATT) in to one powerhouse of assets, their service is absolutely horid. I'd advise anyone to steer clear until they spend some money on more towers. Just terrible.

Absolutely horrid. Have to make 5-6 calls before one finally goes through. Am worried what to do in an emergency, so I actually am keeping a landline. DO NOT GO TO ATT!

If I have an emergency, I won't be able to count on my T-Mobile service-no matter the type of phone. I get no bars in my own home or get a "network busy" or "emergency calls only". I run a business from home and this is not the service I will be using for my company. TLP
