US Cellular
I have had US Cellular since 2005 and the reception was great up until I upgraded my phone. My phone was apparently knocked off a tower after US Cellular had mistakingly gave my number to another person, but thats a different story. I now roam when I am near my house and I get little to no reception when I am in my home. I am hoping its more of the phone then the carrier.

very frustrated with the MANY dropped calls. I get reception outside of my house, but I don't want to be in the frigid cold when I'm on the phone!

I have no signal in my apartment except directly in front of the living room window here I get one bar.

Inside my condo I get no reception. I live right across from the EL too. I'm sure that has something to do with it, however, whenever I'm on the train, reception is great! Go figure. Anyone else have trouble??

Very sporadic and poor service inside University Commons buildings (14th Place and Morgan). Tons of dropped calls.

In my livingroom, I can go from 5 bars to 1 bar without even touching my phone and it does this on a regular bases. If I'm on the phone, it will drop the call. I tried speakerphone and the same thing happens and no one even has to touch it - it has a mind of its own... ... ... ... ... ... ..

Moderate to good reception inside house. Calls tend to fade in and out but usually won't drop. Sprint TXT messaging and Pic mail is not very reliable.

Reception at home in Pilsen has become increasingly spotty over the last few months, with long, inexplicable periods of 'No Service', punctuated by single, teasing bars of reception which disappear as quickly as they appear. My current Serviceless period is now going on at least 12 hours. Even when the network is available, the call-quality here is, lately, often well below standard (where "standard" = the quality I've come to expect in the five years I've lived in this neighborhood, though perhaps it's worth noting that I'm a former AT&T Wireless customer. Cingular seems to be dropping this ball). Service and reception at work (in the Loop) is generally fine; this is a localized phenomenon.
