Verizon
In the house I get great 4G LTE reception, when outside I get about 3 bars of 5G UW. I have to say that Verizon has done a good job of trying to amp up cell reception in the area. With new phones you can use WiFi calling if you’re signal isn’t working. Just got into your settings, look it up.

Sprint by far is the WORST in cell and data. ALWAYS a "tower down" or "issue" and you are placated with people READING FROM A SCRIPT as far as customer service. I pay for UNLIMITED service and Im NOT getting it. I am however constantly reminded of what you have for sale and the fact you are merging with T Mobile. All l want expect and DEMAND is data service that works. Long story short your SERVICE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER CARE SUCKS!

I went from Cricket to Verizon not because of issues. I had a job advancement and I just wanted a better full signal and knowing it would be $$ a bit more. What a disaster. Drop calls everyday. No signal at work. I traveled on vacation and was charged some random travel bill. This was 5months in verizon. I went back to Cricket. Problems solved! No drop calls, internet works super well without getting your gigs drained. (For the same use with 1 Verizon gig and can do the same with a little less than 3gigs with Cricket. No difference of quality at all.

Ever since around the beginning of May, I've been getting 1 to 2 bars out the 4 I usually got. Worst of all, sometimes my phone will show I have all 4 bars but the moment I try and send a text or start a call the signal will go down to 1 bar! Additionally, some calls don't even ring my phone and go directly to Voicemail and text messages are extremely delayed and some recipients claim I never even texted them. The Service was working just fine in April and throughout the rest of the year but suddenly this! I've called T-Mobile and they basically said the same thing they always say: That "there's an error with the local tower and it is currently being looked into." They even "connected my phone to next available fully-functioning tower" and that seemed to fix the issues for around 20mins or so. I do business through my phone and I am on it a great majority of the day. This has been an issue so much so I've actually gotten a Skype Phone Number and are currently forwarding all my calls to it so I can answer them through Skype. This fixes almost all issues except for the text messages being delayed. If they don't do something about that "error with the tower" soon I'm gonna have to switch to Verizon. By the way, my phone is a BYOD phone and therefore cannot make use of Wi-Fi Calling otherwise I would not be complaining.

I have to use the wifi calling to use my phone at home. If I don't I get dropped phone calls and people complain that they can't hear me on the other end. Sometimes my phone will go directly to voicemail. Texting is good. Data throughout Chicago can be sketchy.
