Verizon
Voice reliability and quality are both good. Data is hit or miss, as it varies between 1X, 3G, and LTE in my house. I've also found many pockets of 3G and 1X around the 63109 zip code. LTE, when signal is available, is very fast. 3G and 1X are are unusable for anything that isn't mostly text-based. LTE coverage in most other areas of the city is excellent. Still, with what Verizon charges, there isn't much of an excuse for the LTE gaps in certain areas.

Had good reception until 3rd week of November 2013. The phone tower was taken down near our home. Little to no signal. Bought wireless router so we could at least make a phone call at home. Constantly dropping calls. There's a delay when trying to answer call. Customer service is good, but trying to get out of our contract has been the most awful experience. I'm so sorry we signed up with T-Mobile.

The service here is usually consistent, although data bars can be spotty.

Data speeds are faster than Charter here at my house, at least 25Mbps on LTE. Call quality is amazing. Thanks TMo.

My complaint list for Sprint is long. I can be standing in a field and have no data. Hardly any voice / data / text service in my home. My calls get dropped outdoors all the time. I am constantly worried about my reception. I have a S3 and my partner has a Iphone.. constantly getting his ghost texts. I work downtown.. coverage is a mess there too. Sprint is seriously a uttter mess.

From the day I powered on my phone from T-Mobil, I had one or zero bars in my home. They tried doing a "signal boost"... which did nothing--total joke. I have dropped about 200 calls, I turn my phone off twice a day so my wi-fi calling connects properly, and now it doesn't even call out. I have made about 50 calls to customer service to improve the phone service and am in the process of trying to get out of my contract at no cost. I wrote a letter to corporate in New Mexico, and they sent a denial response to the wrong email address---I never received it! They told me to take advantage of wi-fi calling! They didn't even read my letter... I will not pay to carry around this 'rock' in my bag any longer, nor will I pay the $200 to be released from my contract. They said they see 2G-4G coverage on their map, and they are "working to improve coverage in my area." I asked if this meant I had to wait for new towers to be built and he said, unfortunately, yes. No thanks. This "phone" hasn't worked from day one. It doesn't receive texts with photos, the messaging takes a month to pull up, and it doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to do... make and receive calls.

Bad reception on Sprint and our T-Mobile always drops too. Must be sharing a tower.

Only one or two bars in the middle of Clayton! Dropped calls all the time on AT&T.

Sprint is unbelievably bad in St. Louis. No signal whatsoever in my house which is less than a mile from Wash U. My S4 is completely useless at Busch Stadium. It's basically just a camera at games - unable to send texts with pictures, or do anything that requires an internet connection so most apps do NOT work at all - twitter, FB, email, app store - nothing. I work in Olivette and the reception is also bad here. Lots of dropped calls. If this was a personal phone, not a work phone, I would drop Sprint in a second. It is incredibly frustrating.

Great customer service, and coverage. Not that I want to, but I can stream music in the woods at my hunting property in Southern MO. Prices have gone down to boot!
