T-Mobile
Very good service / reception, with both Voice and Data, though an occasional hiccup once in awhile.. Was told there would be further improvements in the area forthcoming, this year. Wayyyy better than previous service w Verizon.

When I make a call either the person cannot hear me, or I cannot hear them. Sometimes they get every 3rd word or parts of syllables. I have to walk around the house saying "can you hear me", until I find a spot where they can, but without moving, from that spot, all of a sudden the person on the other end cannot hear me. Other times, I am not even on the phone, have an incoming call and I'm told it is silent for about 15 seconds then goes directly to voicemail, but I have no notification of any incoming call or an indication that a message was left, until later in the day when I finally am so frustrated that I turn the phone off and on and it starts dinging. Now it shows voicemails and / or text messages that came in hours ago. I have called MetroPCS four or more times with the same issue. The representatives are more than happy to try to help me and the phone might work okay the rest of the day, usually not, then right back to the same issues. I was told that my cellular data had to be on all the time, so I tried that, which only caused me to go over my 2 GB of high speed data which never happened before. It still didn't help. I've tried to make a call and got a pop up message, No cellular network available. Try making a wi-fi call, when it was already on wi-fi calling. They have boosted my signal, changed "my tower", reset the phone, which causes, all stored information to be erased. My brother says a couple of tin cans and some wire would be better service.

Calls are okay for a few seconds then I can't hear the person on the other line or they can't hear me, or the call is cut off. Sometimes the call is just garbled. The MetroPCS service by T-Mobile is the absolute worst carrier in Independence, Missouri.

When I moved into my home, I had 5g I didn't get any service, bars, and a call was impossible. So I called Metro switched back to 4g and I was happy to know my service improved drastically, they also switched me to a closer tower. My data stalls a bit but that doesn't bother me much. I often had trouble streaming so I removed the 5g from my tv / internet service as well. I don't think 5g is ready for us. So if it's not broke I try not to fix it. 4g is alright with me🌹

I just bought the S20+ with 5G and service SUCKS! My 9s+ with 4G was better. With my new phone on T-Mobile no one can hear me and if they do it's every 3rd word even outside. They said they were working on the tower but that was over a month ago. I've had emergencies and couldn't contact anyone! I guess next time they might just find me dead in my home alone since I have NO Service to make 911 calls! T-Mobile needs to put a new tower up on Blue Ridge Blvd.or fix the ones that are in Independence

Got boost mobile. Signal strength sucks. Internet speed extremely slow. Paying 60.00 a month for this crap. Had T- mobile..same thing. Customer service told me to a different location... screw that. If I and others are paying for service then we as customers should get what we pay for.

We have poor reception even with a booster. We can drive up the road one hundred feet an get good reception.

Our family switched to MetroPCS because of their very affordable unlimited plan for three or more lines. Unfortunately we are going to have to find another carrier since both my wife and I work in Independence and neither of us get coverage once we walk in the door of our office buildings. I have huge windows in my office and I can only intermittently get a signal with MetroPCS by propping my phone against the window and even then it’s inconsistent. In addition anytime you go north on 291 to cross the Missouri River heading to Liberty your phone call will drop – every. single. time. – and you won’t get a signal pick up until your past Ruth Ewing Road. I have since learned that part of the reason MetroPCS is coverage is so poor is that T-Mobile does not give MetroPCS users access to all of the towers available to T-Mobile. It makes some sense but when T-Mobile lease a space off of another carrier is Tower MetroPCS does not get access to that tower. MetroPCS can only use T-Mobile towers which are few and far between.

Never more than two bars. People cannot hear me but I can hear them. Spent 4.5 hours on escalated tech chat with carrier and issue is not resolved. Has gotten worse over last six months. Very frustrating.

Terrible reception. I have at most two - three bars anywhere in the kansas city metro. Most times I have to be connected to WiFi to make a call from my house on 23rd st in Independence. - one of the busiest streets in the Kansas City area. I bet AT&T would have a major problem if I paid my bill based on how much service I get!
