AT&T
Unbelievable. We live 3 miles outside of Jefferson City limits and get poor reception from Att.

You would think the lake of the ozarks being a tourist place that phone companies would see to it that there is coverage all over

We have brought to the attention of the technicians in Camdenton, MO repeatedly that we get no reception. They offer excuses but nothing is ever solved. AT&T customers in Camdenton who live around the lake, I highly recommend you DUMP AT&T.

I can see 7 cell towers blinking from my house on a hill. Tried TMobile, now ATT AND BEST is 2 bars, if I stand at the kitchen window. Inside or outside... the same.

Signal fluctuates randomly from zero - two bars inside. Calls have to be made using WiFi. Calls drop. Messages sometimes won't send even over WiFi and incoming texts are slow to come in. Outside signal is minimal at best it ranges from zero - two bars. I have T-Mobiles cell router and the parental controls do not work! Service with them used to be fair but has steadily declined. I have travelled and found T-Mobile service terrible even in large cities such as St. Louis, Mo and Denver, CO. On two trips to Colorado I found service to be very spotty even on Interstate 70 and two of my T-Mobile phones did not have service in Downtown Denver! On a side note I had Cingular and I had good service here. After AT&T took over service declined until I signed up with T-Mobile a number of years ago, now they are as bad as AT&T was. Sadly there is a T-Mobile owned tower less than 1 / 2 mile from my house! Basically if you are going to be in this area don't expect decent service from any carrier. Cell phone companies are so focused on making it bigger and better for the larger populous areas they can't be bothered to improve service for rural customers. T-Mobiles answer to poor service requires you to pay for your own internet service so their routers and in home cell spot towers will work. In short if you don't have internet or don't have unlimited internet their fixes won't work for you. It seems wrong to pay for phone service AND have to pay for other things just so the phone service will function at a minimal level.

I am lucky to get one bar during the week and any service on the weekends during the summer. Winter is no better--maybe two bars on a good day, but mostly none to one. I know the population numbers vary because of the lake activity, but this is 2017. I shouldn't have to drive three miles to get decent service. (And that means I drive to the actual cell tower to get three bars max.) AT&T can and should do better.

The agents that work at the Camdenton Verizon store are awful people Nagin Alan heal but yet can't help feel you say your phone is lost or stolen so you get a prepaid phone that has never been activated and they still tell you you cannot get your same number worst place everdumb ignorant and inconsiderate people

Rarely have a cell signal at home; if so, it is very weak. We have to use Wi-Fi and Magic Jack for most all of our house calls. It is possible to sometimes wander out in the yard and get a signal. I got on this web site to find a better company, but not sure any of the reviews helped in that regards.
