T-Mobile

T-Mobil has a lot of bars in my mid-town neighborhood but, I work in Northeast Wichita near Webb and 96 where there are ZERO bars. I can't call or receive calls from work! I don't get reception until I get near Rock Rd.

Ever since I moved to wichita, people swore up and down that T Mobile was the best carrier in the area in terms of price vs reliability. And they were right! If I had written this review 4 months ago, I would have given 5 stars. But as of March 2016, there has been a complete change in the coverage area for t mobile's service in Wichita. Now, not a single member of my family can make calls from inside our home, nor any of our work places, including on the AF Base. All of our phones, which until this spring had 4-5 bars of 4G LTE now have 1 bar of analog reception in one room of the house, and 0 bars / emergency calls only mode everywhere that we go in town. Anywhere east of 135 or south of kellogg is a deadzone with completely worthless phones that we are locked into paying for: tech support has been completely unhelpful for this entire duration.

Terrible service, dropped calls, and no data unless you are downtown. Terrible customer service. Good luck getting a rep that speaks English.

I've always used Tmobile, until end of 2015 when we switched to AT&T. Biggest mistake ever. I never have more than a bar or 2 where ever I am. Sometimes I'll get 3 or 4 bars while driving around town. At work ( 33rd and Ridge) I cannot send or receive texts. Zero Internet, zero calls. I work in a small one story office strip. I mad Tmobile. AT&T just doesn't care.

T-Mobil sucks. Customer service is a joke. No live reps at all. Major interstate coverage is pathetic. They need to update their coverage map and erase at least half of the red coverage zone. They lie and should be sued for false advertising.

Cell service is bad up stairs in my home. Cant get service in my basement at all. Charging $25 extra for phone contracts that ended, said I needed to call in to get the month to month discount. Instead of just giving the discount when contract ended, automatically without having to call in is bad business practice, poorly informed service representative. Its called greed and unexceptable for any customers to be treated in this manner.

Terrible service / coverage. Terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone. They will lie to your face. You do not get anywhere on the phone with customer service or face to face inside the Sprint stores.

Here's the deal we use to be with AT&T two cell phones 1-2 gigs for one phone and 300 mb of data for another cost us 200 dollars a month on top of $500 just to leave... ridiculous! But we left anyways and tried out T-Mobile and I love their deals and incentives but I'm so happy we did not get sucked into it and kept our phones. We wanted to pay $80 dollars a month that's it but they swore we should try their 3 gb per line deal and the bill would have been $80 dollars but no we ended up paying $130 dollars (not to mention crappy customer service, crappy cell coverage, dropped calls, lagging messages, etc.) So we left and then 6 months ago we found the holy grail of cell phone providers, cricket. No overage charges and for two phones $80 for very reliable and fast service. The issue now is phones that are slowing down due to age and becoming more and more obsolete. Here's your issue if you want new phones every two years you have to buy the phone completely out right to get it which isn't cheap at all. However, if you find a cheap phone this company will be perfect.

T-Mobile's reception in "rural" area outside of Valley Center is practically non-existent. We have dropped calls all the time, and extremely poor reception. We've tried a signal booster, but it made absolutely no difference at all. T-Mobile is well aware of the issue, but doesn't seem to care. Also, watch and make sure they don't extend your contract without your knowledge. ANY change to your service and that's exactly what they do, but they'll never tell you they've done that.
