Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Storz Expressway, Omaha, NE 68110 |

I returned to Sprint because they advertised the service is now 4G / LTE in Omaha. The day I get the phone, I learned it's not. I have never seen my phone have more than 2 bars of reception. This is anywhere in the city. Even at the Sprint stores... Dropped calls all the time. Poor data... I pay almost $200 a month for POOR SERVICE! I am looking to leave Sprint because of their awful service...

Absolutely no service with T-Mobile in this area. I want to like T-Mobile but they don't invest in the Omaha area, so service is really, really bad. Service is nonexistent west of about 120th St.in Omaha. Rest of Nebraska? Forget it. T-Mobile, please build new towers in the Omaha metro area at the very least!

Verizon

I have no service at Fontenelle Hills Apartments. When I first moved here 5 years ago it was spotty. Verizon sent me a network extender. It worked sometimes in my apartment with the extender. Now it does not work unless I am standing on the deck or walk to the top of the hill. When I have visitors, their cell phones do not work at all here.

Horrible Service. You have to drive passed Walgreens to get any signal at all.

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Bellevue Near 370 and Ft. Crook, Bellevue, NE 68005 |

Switched From Verizon in Nov 2014 to save money. Bad decision. Sprint's service is terrible. I spend most of my time in 3G mode which is very slow if I can connect at all. Sometime my phone will be in 1X mode which is not much different then having no data at all. Call quality is fair but overall I would say that Sprint would be a carrier to avoid. The only thing they cut in half is the quality of service you'll receive.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! If you PCS to Offutt AFB, or even are thinking about moving to Bellevue, cancel your T-Mobile Service ASAP because you're just as likely to get a message across using carrier pigeons. Since there are no T-Mobile contracts, you don't have to bother dealing with morons to not charge you a cancellation fee. Avoid T-Mobile!

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE, They lie to make you sign a contract, and once you are in, service is terrible, RUDE people from the store assistant to the corporate manager. I am also posting this review on facebook to warn other people. For God's sake there are many other service provider companies in the nation.

Verizon

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | 72nd and Sorensen, Omaha, NE 68122 |

Usually get 3-4 bars of LTE on Verizon in this area and I have no complaints about the speed. I rarely have issues with Verizon in Omaha. The only times I don't have LTE service is when I'm deep in a building or sometimes in basements. It is rare though.

I can't express in words how terrible Sprint's service is over the last year, ever since they "upgraded" their network. I've been using Sprint for many years, and I had nothing but good things to say. A year ago, we started having problems where text messages weren't going through, phone calls weren't going through, data was intermittent. I would call in almost weekly to complain, and all they would do is troubleshoot my phone. My wife and I got new phones in mid-2014, brand new out of the box phones, and STILL have the same problems, so we officially ruled out the phones as the problem (which we knew already, but no one would listen to us). A few months ago, we started experiencing an issue where we would either make or receive a phone call, the call would be ok for about 5 seconds, then there was no audio. The call was still connected, you just couldn't communicate in anyway. I'm going on my 4th time calling and reporting the same issue now, and all I get is the same runaround. "We'll give you a credit and submit a ticket for you." 12 months of the same B.S. The service is GOD AWFUL TERRIBLE!
