Sprint

I returned to Sprint because they advertised the service is now 4G / LTE in Omaha. The day I get the phone, I learned it's not. I have never seen my phone have more than 2 bars of reception. This is anywhere in the city. Even at the Sprint stores... Dropped calls all the time. Poor data... I pay almost $200 a month for POOR SERVICE! I am looking to leave Sprint because of their awful service...

Absolutely no service with T-Mobile in this area. I want to like T-Mobile but they don't invest in the Omaha area, so service is really, really bad. Service is nonexistent west of about 120th St.in Omaha. Rest of Nebraska? Forget it. T-Mobile, please build new towers in the Omaha metro area at the very least!

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE, They lie to make you sign a contract, and once you are in, service is terrible, RUDE people from the store assistant to the corporate manager. I am also posting this review on facebook to warn other people. For God's sake there are many other service provider companies in the nation.

Usually get 3-4 bars of LTE on Verizon in this area and I have no complaints about the speed. I rarely have issues with Verizon in Omaha. The only times I don't have LTE service is when I'm deep in a building or sometimes in basements. It is rare though.

I can't express in words how terrible Sprint's service is over the last year, ever since they "upgraded" their network. I've been using Sprint for many years, and I had nothing but good things to say. A year ago, we started having problems where text messages weren't going through, phone calls weren't going through, data was intermittent. I would call in almost weekly to complain, and all they would do is troubleshoot my phone. My wife and I got new phones in mid-2014, brand new out of the box phones, and STILL have the same problems, so we officially ruled out the phones as the problem (which we knew already, but no one would listen to us). A few months ago, we started experiencing an issue where we would either make or receive a phone call, the call would be ok for about 5 seconds, then there was no audio. The call was still connected, you just couldn't communicate in anyway. I'm going on my 4th time calling and reporting the same issue now, and all I get is the same runaround. "We'll give you a credit and submit a ticket for you." 12 months of the same B.S. The service is GOD AWFUL TERRIBLE!

Sprint has horrible signal anywhere in Omaha. I cannot even make a phone call because either the call fails or there is bad reception. And there data sucks too. I call Sprint to get some answers and their reply is always the same "towers are down in my area" what a lame excuse. I hope that people drop Sprint as soon as their contracts are over I know I am.

For a city so big you would think that T-Mobile would see this as a gold mine if their service worked here. T-Mobile should be ashamed to make the commercials that they do. After trying T-Mobiles service I now know what the commercial is referring to where the husband did not receive the texts from his wife that broke her arm... with T-Mobile you never receive their texts. Horrible, horrible service! My fav is that T-Mobile tells you that you can use your same cell number but NO you cannot and you have to take number with a different states area code.

Horrible service in Omaha. Missed calls when it didn't even ring and getting voice mails days later from the time caller left message. And with the poor service they want to charge me an early termination fee... . Wtf?

I own 2 phones from separate carriers. One from Sprint (personal), and one from Verizon (work). Keep in mind that I travel around Omaha A LOT every day with my job, so I know all the dead spots like the back of my hand. With my work phone, the Verizon, I have only had a handful of dropped calls in the last year, and that is usually way out in the sticks. One time I had no service. With Sprint, that is a very different story. Even with the Airvana Airave 2.5+ that was supplied by Sprint, that I pay monthly taxes on (WTF?!?!) I get dropped calls in my home, while sitting next to the thing! However, that is better then when I am outside doing yard work, I have no service at all then. I live on top of a hill, one of the tallest in at least a 15 min drive, and I need an amp to use my phone? What kind of ruckus is this? If Verizon wasn't so expensive, I would totally ditch Sprint for them. Sprint is the worst ever. Go with Verizon... if you can afford them!
