Verizon

I've been a Verizon customer for 15 years now. I got my newest phone a little over a year ago, Galaxy Note 2. Love it. I got it when I lived in Northwest Iowa, Okoboji to be exact. While I was up there they updated the towers and always had strong 4GLTE coverage. Now back in Omaha, I sit here at my house at 1am with poor 2 bar 3g coverage. Since the last update my coverage here has been horrendous. Some of the lowest speeds I've ever seen. Went to Okoboji 2 weeks ago and had 100mbps d / l and 75 u / l speeds. In Omaha I'm lucky to break 25. I showed VZW the results and they just tell me my phone needs to be "restarted" and should go back to normal... never has. It's getting old fast and it seems like everyone is having thessame issues across all networks. So what's the solution?

Worst service ever. Couldn't even call in to customer care without my call dropping.

Sprint's coverage is terrible in downtown Omaha. This didn't happen until recently. I drop multiple calls a day (even when outdoors). Sprint's customer service insists that there is no maintnance going on in the area, so their recent upgrade must have made service worst. I have had issues with Sprint's coverage all over Omaha that past several months since they started their "upgrades."

Rarely get 4G service on any of my devices. When I do, its two bars, and 4G seems to be slower than 3G. Not living up to the hype of 4G.

Have had customer service issues with Verizon, (which normally has highest ratings for service). After 3 months of dealing with returned phone issue, and every csr stating "they are going to take care of this issue" I am stuck with unfounded charges. Grade "D" for customer service. Customer for 8 Years.

I have been on Verizon for the last 4 years and I have always had coverage. I only rarely lose LTE when I am inside buildings (usually in the basement). I have no idea why everyone else is complaining about Verizon. I have friends on Sprint and they are barely getting spotty LTE coverage just now. I wouldn't be switching to Sprint for that reason right now.

Sprint wasn't that great before, but it is pretty good now. Data is reasonably fast and always have at least 3G, LTE in lots of places. Haven't dropped a call in months.

At times, the reception is good and strong - but in the evenings or at dusk it is often jarbled. It was a lot worse when we had Sprint.

Just switched back to Verison and got a new droid ultra 4g phone. Since getting this phone I have been Verisons worst nightmare. Had much better reception where I live with my old Motorola droid x. 4 blocks away from home to my north my reception is good. One block south and several blocks west I have terrible reception. Will get out of my new contract next week.

Nearly 30 Mb down speed in this area. Finding more Sprint fast spots as they upgrade the towers. It sucks for a while as they take down towers to upgrade them, but in the end we finally have Sprint 4 G.
