I don't even know where to start. Terrible, unreliable, failing, etc. All of these and similar words describe the Verizon network in the OKC Metro. I do not understand why Verizon does not add WiFi calling, like T-Mobile or AT&T. They need it, badly. They say their network is "built out so well" that they don't need it, but that comment is false. OKC Averages that I have found: Edmond: XLTE Bands 4,13 (14Mbps D, 6Mbps U) Yukon: XLTE Band 13 (9Mbps D, 3Mbps U) Mustang: LTE Band 13 (6Mbps D, 4Mbps U) Moore: 3G Ev-Do (0.5Mbps D, 0.7Mbps U) MWC: XLTE Bands 2,4,13 (31Mbps D, 9Mbps U) Bethany: XLTE Bands 4,13 (18Mbps D, 7Mbps U) Guthrie: LTE Band 13 (3Mbps, 0.7Mbps U) Airport: LTE Band 13 (7Mbps D, 3Mbps U) Downtown: XLTE Band 4 (13Mbps D, 4Mbps U) Bricktown: XLTE Band 4 (8Mbps D, 5Mbps U) I have friends who have T-Mobile and they average around 40Mbps D, and 17Mbps U. Definitely considering TMUS. AT&T as well. Was this review helpful to you?

Sprint is HORRIBLE... .Have to stand outside my house in Edmond to get coverage for calls... .when called they tell me they are waiting fotlr a "part"... .that has been their answer for 5 years. I travel in SE Oklahoma and literally had NO SERVICE for 2 days. After I yelled at them for telling me they showed there was service they"gave" me a $50 credit. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor on the outside of my house and practically non existent on the inside. I will be switching to Verizon when our phones are paid off.Was this review helpful to you?
I was with Sprint for many years but switched to Verizon 1 1 / 2 years ago. Bought the service and phones through Amazon and saved a considerable amount on the phones.. Was tired of hearing about 4G coming soon, then Sprint redirected many of their OKC towers when they lost some kind of contract with other towers. After that their network service was poor and unreliable so went with Verizon. I was a little disappointed in their coverage and had a few dropped calls which I don't think I ever experienced with Sprint until the issue above. I work near OKC airport and the coverage is poor their but overall, it's been good and their customer service is certainly better than Sprint. My biggest complaint is the cost. PS: Your zip code database needs updating. Doesn't recognize mine I've had for 5 years. Was this review helpful to you?
I've been with AT&T Wireless for about 8 years now, and their service has not improved, but seems to have gone downhill. I live in the middle of Edmond, and get only 1-3 bars... often people just can't hear me talking... signal cuts out! I have spent more than an hour with ATT tech service, but nothing helped. I will switch and try Verizon instead, I guess...Was this review helpful to you?
Trying to decide between 0 and 1 star. Reception is virtually nonexistent most anywhere, almost always unusable. At work (CHK HQ) it takes me about 5 minutes to load a basic webpage. That is not an exaggeration. Was this review helpful to you?
I switched to Verizon from AT&T when the iPhone 5S was released and couldn't be happier. I have great service every where I go unlike AT&T. I have not had a drop call or missed connection. The only time I was having issues when I was in Moore after the tornadoes. I have constant full bars of 4G LTE and my data connection is fast. I now have the new iPhone 6 Plus and my connection is still great! No regrets. Was this review helpful to you?
The reception is very weak. Too many dropped calls or long periods of silence during calls. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon Wireless has little to no LTE or 3G connection here. I recommend using AT&T for this area, Verizon has many dropped calls, poor, slow data, and more importantly is NOT reliable. Verizon LTE is about 1-3 bars, 3G is about 2 to 4 bars. LTE speeds vary between 0.25Mbps and 5Mbps, so basically not enough speed to do daily tasks like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.Was this review helpful to you?
