Verizon is best here on base. Indoors is great due to repeaters but outdoors it can be hit or miss. My device will switch from 3G to LTE to 1x and I have about 2 dropped calls a day (outside only). Texting is great - no problems there.

Their LTE is great outdoors but inside the buildings on campus it is non-existent while Verizon has full signal. As soon as I walk inside I instantly drop the call and text messages do not send, duplicate, or I never receive them at all. IF T-Mobile gets the 700Mhz in OKC then this issue will be fixed, until then I'll have to use Verizon.

Sprint sure has improved in the last 6 months. I don't have anymore dropped calls and no issues with data or text messages. I have been with Sprint 10 years now and traveled all around the region with few problems. There is no perfect cell service.

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Chesapeake HQ, Oklahoma City, OK 73154 |

Trying to decide between 0 and 1 star. Reception is virtually nonexistent most anywhere, almost always unusable. At work (CHK HQ) it takes me about 5 minutes to load a basic webpage. That is not an exaggeration.

Verizon

I switched to Verizon from AT&T when the iPhone 5S was released and couldn't be happier. I have great service every where I go unlike AT&T. I have not had a drop call or missed connection. The only time I was having issues when I was in Moore after the tornadoes. I have constant full bars of 4G LTE and my data connection is fast. I now have the new iPhone 6 Plus and my connection is still great! No regrets.

My service on my Galaxy S4 and S5 bounce between 1x, to 3G, to LTE, then back to NO data whatsoever. Dropped calls, texts are delayed, and both devices overheat until you connect it to a stable WIFI connection. You get what you paid for. It takes well over 30 minutes to watch a 2 minute YouTube video on the lowest resolution settings on Sprint's LTE and 3G.

No clue where to start. Terrible reception and service. Anything from dropped calls daily, text messages coming through two days after someone sends them to me, Unable to connect to calls due to poor signal, No wireless signal, etc. Wrote letter to Sprint Leadership team and was contacted by local engineer who said that this area won't be upgraded for another year or more. Wish they had told me that when I signed my 2-year contract. However, they just informed me that they are letting me out of my contract early due to the non-stop issues.

I've been a Sprint customer for over 15 years. Service in San Diego was great. Since moving to OK two years ago service has been terrible. I hate to jump ship but I can't handle the constant dropped calls and poor / no reception. I've escalated the issue, multiple times, and I am always told that they are upgrading their towers in the Mustang area but that's been a 2+ years upgrade so I can't wait any longer. We are probably going to Verizon.

Verizon Wireless has little to no LTE or 3G connection here. I recommend using AT&T for this area, Verizon has many dropped calls, poor, slow data, and more importantly is NOT reliable. Verizon LTE is about 1-3 bars, 3G is about 2 to 4 bars. LTE speeds vary between 0.25Mbps and 5Mbps, so basically not enough speed to do daily tasks like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

T-Mobile

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Reno Ave. | Czech Hall Rd., Yukon, OK 73099 |

I get 4G LTE and VoLTE in and around Yukon but (yes there is a but) if you step into Walmart off Garth Brooks Blvd, Target, or the hospital it drops to EDGE (2G) which is unusable. If you don't mind not having data inside buildings then T-Mobile is right for you. At my house it is a different story I get full bars, no dropped called, HD calls, and 35-40Mbps down and 15-20Mbps up so when I am uploading files to the cloud I use my T-Mobile service vs Cox Cable. If you travel past Banner Rd.heading west towards El Reno your phone is rendered useless.
