T-Mobile
It looks like 1900Mhz HSPA+ refarming is active in OKC as my unlocked HTC One is getting sporadic HSPA+ coverage and it doesn't support TMO's AWS HSPA service. The coverage isn't great at the moment but hopefully it will improve.

T-Mobile
Reception has been extremely spotty this week. TMobile says they're working on towers in OKC and it should be better soon. Don't know if I believe that or no.

Sprint
CDMA and associated services are consistently poor in this area. Have used 3 varied HTC units, Samsung Galaxy, and a Nexus phone.

AT&T
There is a tower within 2 city blocks of me, and yet I mostly always have 2 bars. I haven't had many dropped calls yet, but my voice breaks up at times, and the "4g" internet sucks.

Verizon
Hey, living in Oklahoma right now, and I'm moving to Anchorage. My phone was broken, and I was thinking of switching to T-Mobile or Sprint and dropping Verizon. Just want an updated answer on how T-Mobile is doing up there as far as reception goes and 3g. I know they roam off of other peoples towers, but regardless how is at? Thanks.

US Cellular
I drop calls all the time. I can rarely have a conversation that isn't dropped!

AT&T
I have to walk to the middle of the street to get reception. I have tried various phones and they all have had bad reception. When I started service it was Cingular. I am ready to find better service!

T-Mobile
No service in house, porch or parking lot but otherwise crystal clear sound. What a shame...

Verizon
Switch my plan of 5 over from AT&T to Verizon. They bought Alltel here, and its AWESOME! There 3G service is strong, and have not had a dropped call. I always have service, and 3G is fast. Verizon is upgrading everything and they will be here soon! My brother is switching his line of 4 over from Sprint today to Verizon. Verizon gets full service in his house.

Verizon
Great Reception. Great coverage. All bars all the time. 3G is on Alltel, which will soon be Verizon here in OKC. Phone banner flips between "Extended Network" and "Verizon Wireless" from time to time.... So for those anxious to get Verizon Wireless in Oklahoma City, don't worry- They will be here in a few weeks!

AT&T
AT&T has really dropped the ball the last year. The three phones on our contract can hardly ever be reached all around Midwest City and Choctaw. We are just waiting for the day our contract is up. Hopefully Verizon will be better if they ever get here... .

T-Mobile
In Del City and at work (Tinker AFB) I get perfect signal. I get all five bars on T-Mobile from inside my house.

US Cellular
I love US Cellular, I can go anywhere and get really good reception. In the rural areas of Oklahoma, no one can get service. For some reason, I do get a full signal with my US Cellular phone. They have a really great network!

Alltel
Is there a place where you can find where Alltel towers are located? I love the way T-Mobile has the street level map on their page.

Alltel
We have traveled this weekend trying to enforce our 15 trial period for the change-over to Alltel. The coverage was terrible. Lost calls, no signal, no picture or movie camera option worked unless there was a 4-bar signal present. Once there was, it was lost again. We stopped in Sayre to avoid a rainstorm, but the signal failed as I moved around in the truckstop to get a better signal. After leaving OKC, 45 miles into the trip along I-40, one of the most traveled highways in the U.S., we lost signal and calls all the way to Amarillo. We stopped again 29 miles from El Reno on the way back. Again, the signal changed inside the store from place to place. It was terrible. I would not recommend Alltel. The loss of GSM service is a disaster. Alltel brags about investing 59 million in upgrading the systems. That, in the tellecomm. world, is not that much of an investment. I think that most will find that after switching to Alltel, another company would be the best bet.

Nextel
We brought our Nextel with us from Michigan a year ago and have only been disappointed when we were traveling way out on back roads. We NEVER lose our signals in town. It seems like everyone else we talk to does. We will resign with Nextel when our contract runs out.

AT&T
Cannot complete a call inside the house. Spotty reception outside. Motorola at same address gets good but not perfect reception outside and average inside. Both get good reception at other locations.

AT&T Wireless (GSM)
This phone gets no reception in numerous areas of the city. I've had the phone replaced and SIM card still very spotty service. It's a shame to i really like this phone, I guess I'll have to go with the similar Samsung.

AT&T Wireless (TDMA)
Have AT&T nationwide one rate get better reception in 35 states I have traveled in with job than I do at my house. Had Sprint, it was worse. Wife has cingular and it is a little better at house, but won't pick up at Lake Eufala.
