US Cellular
We've been with US Cellular for 20 years but can't wait to switch! Signal strength... 1 on a good day! Low signal strength is a new problem but it's a huge problem. Seems to have worsen since March 25th storm or since latest Samsung upgrade. If anyone lives in the Berryhill area please let me know if you have the same issue and if not... .what carrier do you use?

Verizon has excellent service throughout the Tulsa area. With all other carriers their LTE speeds have slowed with time if you can connect to LTE at all (looking at you AT&T and Sprint). I nearly always have an LTE signal with Verizon and its always fast (6+mbps, usually around 10-30). Verizon has XLTE (AWS, band 4) near TU and I can actually use my phone at the stadium, (even when OU or OSU comes to humiliate us (I mean visit) and the stadium is full), with great speeds. I love the new VoLTE HD voice with my phone. It has improved their call quality tremendously, (which was my one major beef with them previously).

Have been with US Cellular for over 10 years. Have done a lot of travelling including out west and desert areas. Never had a reception problem.

Verizon does not service this area. However, they have a partner carrier who does, (Sprocket Wireless). Sprocket built out an LTE network that covers everywhere near the area with LTE and it is extremely fast (never less than 10mbps and always faster than everyone else). Coverage is great, I get service deep indoors and in large buildings (movie theater at the mall had 4 out of 5 bars of LTE). Sprocket has a great network and while I can't attest to the customer service our price plans (I'm a Verizon customer and have never dealt with sprocket), they can't possibly be any worse than US Cellular's customer service (the absolute worst), so I highly recommend Sprocket if you live in Muskogee and Verizon or Pioneer if you live elsewhere. Between Verizon, Sprocket and Pioneer Cellular, the whole state is covered with LTE for all of their customers.

I am sad to say that my family will be leaving Sprint after being with them for over 12 years. Their customer service has been outstanding, but unfortunately, their cell reception is horrible in Midtown Tulsa, Downtown, etc. I live right in the heart of Tulsa and had to have a booster (AirWave) installed in my house just to use the phone. Once outside, I must travel a few miles before any bars appear. So, so disappointed in Sprint for not upgrading their towers. They have told me for the past year not to give up…they are upgrading, be patient, etc. My patience is now gone and will have to change. I hate this because they have great plans, unlimited data, etc. but if the phone does not work, there is no point to paying for service you don't receive. So long Sprint….

had Sprint for the last 7 years. they've gone from ok, to bad, to worse! numerous dropped calls, speedtest shows.02 mbps download and.01 upload! so much for the unlimited data, you get exasperated trying to use it and end up waiting to get to wifi areas just to get any reception! contract is finishing up the end of this year, and definitely switching to something else.

Still Sprint 3G on 41st St.East of Memorial with rare LTE connections. Sprint 3G data speed is as slow as molassis which means horrible.

Excellent service everywhere. I am simply amazed at the excellent job Verizon has done with the cell network they've built on PCS here. I get great voice coverage beyond what is advertised and LTE data that is faster than every other carrier (except T-Mobile and US Cellular in certain places). If you can afford the service (I have a grandfathered unlimited data account) then I highly recommend Verizon for those who live in the Tulsa area.
