Sprint

Sprint continues to have terrible data speeds in East Tulsa. Truly terrible. T-Mobile is a bit better but has spotty coverage in T-Town. Sprint as well as T-Mobile (all TMo stores in Tulsa are 3rd party franchise stores) have told me lies. Beware.

Recent 2 or 3 months, my 4G LTE reception has been literally non-existent. Very slow... yes... 4G LTE and 5 bars seems like 300 baud modem. Really sad.

I've had Sprint for 2 months now and I got it when I was In California. The service was great for about 2 days and now I can hardly use the internet

Voice works with 2 bars on Sprint LTE; data loads default cached browser rather fast but any searched websites stall at roughly 1 / 6 progression bar atop Google with endless spinning wheel by LTE connection. 60 seconds later, and yet to move from Google search page to any requested websites. Have closed out and retried 5 times already. Painful. You get what you pay for.

I have to literally go outside to make or receive calls, and even then signal is spotty. As of today, July 4th 2016, approximately 12:30 pm CST, we have absolutely NO service!

T-Mobile - bad signal slow data. AT&T - bad signal slow data. Verizon (not smartphone) - bad signal. All have poor, garbled, choppy voice quality, dropped calls. "Customer care" (all three) say I'm too close to too many tall buildings. THERE ARE NO TALL BUILDINGS NEAR HERE! We've been in this area for ten years, had several different high end phones and different carriers, all with the same issues. I contacted 611 a few times a year for the past TEN YEARS and all I get is made up excuses from other states or even other countries. Customer service should be localized and know and understand the layout of the land and cities. This way customers could possibly get better help instead of BS answers like "tall buildings" where there are none. Also, more jobs for Americans wouldn't hurt anything..

Verizon has been the only carrier we have had that has provided us with consistent coverage no matter where we are or where we have gone. In the past we have had At&T (customer service sucks!) Sprint and T-Mobile and we would lose calls sitting still at home. Half the time we couldn't use our phones either when traveling. Verizon is twice as expensive (they do really need to do something about that) but to be fair... we have never had problems with reception or customer service.

Verizon has excellent service throughout the Tulsa area. With all other carriers their LTE speeds have slowed with time if you can connect to LTE at all (looking at you AT&T and Sprint). I nearly always have an LTE signal with Verizon and its always fast (6+mbps, usually around 10-30). Verizon has XLTE (AWS, band 4) near TU and I can actually use my phone at the stadium, (even when OU or OSU comes to humiliate us (I mean visit) and the stadium is full), with great speeds. I love the new VoLTE HD voice with my phone. It has improved their call quality tremendously, (which was my one major beef with them previously).
