AT&T
I lived at this location for almost 6 years and have been with AT&T. I truly cant figure out why cell reception is so poor. I have to go outside and pray that a whisp of signal will come my way just so I can use my phone! When you go to the coverage map is shows a small area on the map over this area where their coverage is poor. Please AT&T, get your head out and fix this problem. There are plenty others who are just like me, paying you good money every month to you. Either fix it or close your AT&T store and move your people who work for you to another location because its not their fault, its yours. Sincerely, A very frustrated customer!

Sprint
First of all I have to say sprints customer service is *$#%$#@ horrible. everyone ivr talked to has said sumthing different one time I was told its my phone then it was that their decommisining their Nextel towers then it was a digital conversion from any analog towers to digital now its a 4g digital tower conversion wtf. Do after that and a growing cell bill I'm done. They offerd me a signal booster called an airwave thay plugs into my modem they said ill get full 3g within a 5000ft radius hopfully it wrks.I have no service currently.3mounts left on my 3 smart phone family contract and were switching.

Sprint
SHyt reception. I switched from having cricket for around 12yrs and wished I hadnt. My 3g network at its best with Sprint is 122Kbps down stream and only.11Kbps upstream. slower than a dial-up connectin. Switching back to cricets service in the morning. Least with them Ill have a 3g network that actually works. BTW Sprint only has 2 towers in tulsa. Just call in and ask a rep

AT&T
I have full reception when in Tulsa where I live, but as soon as I drive into Owasso, 12 miles from my house I lose all reception. I work in Owasso and all day have to go with out my phone for messaging or making calls becasue I have no service. Even if I power down and try to switch towers there is no service in Owasso. This is very frustrating, I was planning on moving to Owasso this summer and figure I will have to change service providers when I move... ..

Sprint
Unless I stand outside, my phone is good for nothing more than an occasional text message. Sprint's service has continuously gotten worse and worse year after year, and I've been with them for 7 years and have had NUMEROUS phones... all of which have received similar reception. I have no service what-so-ever in Mounds or Owasso. The only way to get full service is to be between B.A. and the Arkansas River and between Admiral and Bixby / Glenpool area. The 3G is okay as long as I have more than 3 bars. Anything less and you'll be staring at a loading screen for half an hour. I'm in digital roam right now, sitting near the Gilcrease Museum, just west of Downtown Tulsa.

Verizon
I switched from Sprint to Verizon a few months ago and I never realized how much better it could be. I have a droid phone and my wife is getting an X as soon as her Sprint contract is up.

I switched my family to Verizon yesterday. We love the service! We even get 3G here. I have some friends who are about to switch too.

I travle a lot and my phone is always roaming. Tulsa has some good spots for US Cellular, but I get a lot of droped calls. The business I work for is about to switch to Verizon Wireless. I am testing out the BlackBerry Tour and its so much better then my Curve on US Cellular. Everywhere I have been in the US I get 3G service. Verizons 3G data TV ad caught our eye.

AT&T
Never a complaint here. I always have at 3 bars of reception and 3G is blazing fast here. I never have to worry about reception or dropped calls.

Verizon
Great service! The EVDO 3G service is better then AT&T's. The service is really great in and around the area. Verizon just bought Alltel, so service is great in OK City with 3G service.

T-Mobile
I have just switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. We had dropped calls CONSTANTLY with AT&T. We travel everywhere from east coast to west coast. Still had a lot of dropped calls. No droppies with t-mo, yet! As a matter of fact I get more bars with t-mo at my house than with AT&T. BUT no company is perfect... this is what I want to comment on... I pay for 4 lines plus 2 air cards in our family... yes we need them. My phone bill with AT&T was $450 a month! I was needing something else! I checked with t-mo and their highest unlimited minute plan was $30 cheaper than I was paying for an AT&T family plan with 3000 minutes. Plus their pda internet add-on charge is $10 cheaper than AT&T. ALSO, their aircard plans are $10 cheaper per month. Here is the final kicker... with AT&T the first line has the family plan attached to it, then each add'tl line is $9.99. With t-mo... you get 2 LINES with the family plan, then each add'tl is $9.99. So there is ANOTHER $10 saved. I urge anyone with several lines to sit down and do the math. My phone bill is cut by MORE THAN half. AT&T is RAPING people on their prices. We all need to get smart!

Sprint
Sprint signal drop everytime at this intersection. Also, Sprint switches to digital roaming North of Oologah, OK. I've been a Sprint customer for 10 years and hate it.

AT&T
Since switching to AT&T from Sprint, I get dropped calls all the time. Sometimes, a voice mail will magically appear without my phone ever telling me someone called. Their customer service is better than Sprint, but the actual phone service is horrible. The only good thing is I hardly ever get 0 bars, even works in elevators.

Alltel
I am soon moving to the area from Ohio. I have spent a lot of time in Tulsa,Ok. with my Alltel plan, that even with 10 free #"s on the "my circle" plan, I still go close to the edge of my 900 minute plan (so I'm saying I use my phone a lot), I've driven throughout the downtown area, down to Broken Arrow, Okmulgee, up to Owasso, Sand Springs and up through Claremore (not to mention the drive from Ohio). I am so pleased with my Alltel service that I'm trying to find a prefix available that will allow people in Tulsa to call me without it being long distance, I don't want to switch. One other point that people a lot of times fail to understand: Your signal can be directly affected by the model of phone you're using (no matter what carrier you have)! So do your homework!

Sprint
Get this, in order for me to use my phone inside my house I must stand in the corner at the back door like a 5 year old in time out to use my phone. In June I'm switching to T- Mobile. Sprint loose.

AT&T
Cingular AT&T Excelent Reception in most of Tulsa area. In fact in most of NE Oklahoma. I also use it a lot in North Central Ok (Stillwater). There are some dead areas between Manford and Stilwater on Hwy. 51. There are no dead areas on US 412 (Cimmaron Turnpike). In her previous job my wife traveled deep into Osage county a lot. There are some very rural areas and very small towns in there where there is no coverage at all from any carrier we know of. Cingular worked better by far than T-Mobile in that area. Some of her clients said they could get coverage from USC if they stood in a certain window of their houses, but that was it. 56th ST N and Hwy. 169 (near my office.)Cingular and Sprint both work great. Some USC and T mobile customers have trouble using theirs inside the building.

T-Mobile
I get great reception in many areas of Tulsa Oklahoma, although there are several pockets within the city where my T-Mobile goes completely dead, or I drop phone calls. I never had this problem while living in Oklahoma City unless I travelled outside of the city limits. T-Mobile is terrible for any travel in rural areas. T-Mobile is terrible when it comes to dropped phone calls and many, many, many pockets of no reception. I have been told by customer service that the problem was my cell phone in the past, I switched to my current cell phone and still have the same problems.

Sprint
Sprint has been awesome for me for over 7 years now so much that I have told my local land line company to take a hike. Which in case you didn't know it you are paying a total of 10 different taxes if you are still using a land line. I have had maybe one or two dropped calls over the last 5 years I'll take that anyday.

Sprint
Sprint signal is poor to non existent in this area. Even when I have 2 or 3 bars in other areas it's not uncommon to get a dropped call. Voice quality is also not that great. maybe it's the particular phone?? Even with 3 or 4 bars it can take several tries before it will dial the number and connect. If we didn't have such a long time low cost plan I would switch carriers. Maybe I will anyway now that I think about it.

US Cellular
I have had us cellular service for going on 3 years now and I have never had a dropped call on any of my phones. I have always bought LG phones they have wonderful reception. US Cellulars customer service cannot be beat either! They treat you like a member of your family when you call, not just another account. no matter what the issue is or how long it takes, they will make sure you hang up with a smile on your face!

Sprint
Exceptional service downtown on the ground, in the elevator, or on the 40th floor. I live in the Battle Creek area and I also get perfect service at home. We dropped our land line in favor of our mobiles.

AT&T
when AT&T "bought out" Cingular they sold out all the towers I know so many people who where with AT&T that where so happy switched and now there under contract and customer service either says I cant help you and your stuck or sorry we get calls about this all the time and they wont tell us whats wrong. Most every one I kno that had AT&T blame Cingular but the truth is AT&T owns like 70% stock in Cingular so for what ever reason except to make billions by tricking all there customers into switching I dunno but they have "the most dropped calls" "not the fewest"

I have used USC since 1998. They have always negotiated the best anytime minute plans and my service is great. I almost NEVER have calls drop and their Customer Service cannot be beat!
