Been with T-mobile 8+ yrs in this area. Frustrated / looking to switch carriers asap! Consistently only 2G speed for months now- even when I'm over in south Tulsa, or Sand Springs... and even when my data is reset for the month / none used- causing the slow down. My browser keeps crashing / timing out- per servers taking too long to load a page (I've done I.T. for 15 yrs)- on such a slow network. Ever since they started offering free data for specific streaming services, it's like the rest of the long-time loyal customers no longer matter.

T-Mobile - bad signal slow data. AT&T - bad signal slow data. Verizon (not smartphone) - bad signal. All have poor, garbled, choppy voice quality, dropped calls. "Customer care" (all three) say I'm too close to too many tall buildings. THERE ARE NO TALL BUILDINGS NEAR HERE! We've been in this area for ten years, had several different high end phones and different carriers, all with the same issues. I contacted 611 a few times a year for the past TEN YEARS and all I get is made up excuses from other states or even other countries. Customer service should be localized and know and understand the layout of the land and cities. This way customers could possibly get better help instead of BS answers like "tall buildings" where there are none. Also, more jobs for Americans wouldn't hurt anything..

Data is scratchy at best both locations. Terrible service.

The reception on Sprint is terrible throughout Broken Arrow, LTE speeds average around 0.30 Mbps Down and 0.10 Mbps Up. When it comes to the worst places on the Sprint network it has to be 129th and Country Line, 61st and County Line, 71st and County Line and 101st and Elm. Don't expect to have useable speeds in these area's if you have or plan on getting Sprint. Also, don't expect that anyone will ever fix the network, I've emailed many of people at Sprint, Tweeted to them, told in store sales employees also told customer service. It's really sad that the wireless carrier with the most wireless spectrum could manage to also be the worst carrier. It's crazy to think that T-Mobile which was once the worst national carrier here in Tulsa is now the second best, (T-Mobile is the fastest but lacks rural coverage) (Verizon is overall best in speed and coverage as well as all other aspects)

One, maybe two bars and slow service on 91st corridor with dropoffs

I've had US Cellular service for around two years now, and I have to say I've had zero issues with reception, no dropped calls, and blazing fast 4G service. Their customer service is honestly the best I've experienced. I had AT&T for several years before that and didn't have any issues with service, however customer service was atrocious. I feel like Sprint gets a terrible rep, but they're not bad, at least in the Metro area.

Always very weak reception here. Not a problem once I leave this area.

T-Mobile is improving rapidly. Previously I would drop to worthless 2G EDGE or GPRS when I drove in any direction away from the city limits. Now, most of those towers have been upgraded to LTE. T-Mobile still has issues with in-building coverage and fringe coverage in rural areas where AT&T will barely cover an area with 1 bar of 4G (T-Mobile will get No Service in these areas) but T-Mobile's much faster network and much better plans make this trade worth it in my opinion. I get the fastest speeds with T-Mobile in Tulsa (Verizon is a near second). If you need fringe coverage for voice (those really really rural areas in the sticks) I would choose Verizon. AT&T, US Cellular and Sprint are poor choices these days. Ranking networks on Speed I would rank them in this order 1. T-Mobile 2. Verizon 3. AT&T 4. US Cellular 5. Sprint Ranking networks on rural and in-building coverage in the sticks I would rank them in this order 1. Verizon 2. U.S. Cellular 3. AT&T 4. T-Mobile 5. Sprint If all things were equal on cost, Verizon would be the best choice but seeing as how they definitely aren't (T-Mobile's plans are a vastly better value) and how hard T-Mobile has been working in this area to improve their network and coverage (especially their rural coverage) they have earned my business.
