Cannot get 4G signal with thunderbolt in Les Lacs neighborhood. At best, 1 bar of 3G signal. Called Verizon and was advised by tech team after sending out a person to measure signal that I live in a marginal area.

I was "forced" to get a new phone by ATT and my old Nokia 3595 never dropped calls and ALWAYS had 4 to 5 bars. Now I have this Pantech Ease seems like calls drop all the time and when I am talking to people which BTW are all in the same city I am they say the conversation cuts in and out and "IF" I get any bars "which is rare" its 2 at best. I thought the whole reason ATT was "forcing" people to get new phone was because it was old technology they were not supporting anymore... .well seems to me the old technology worked a heck of a lot better than this 3G junk I have now and I don't even have data on the phone it just phone and text. I am considering cancelling since I am still within my cancel time and I have been an ATT customer since 2004.

I wore out two Nokia 3589 tri modes and had to go to my LG tri mode. Haven't used it in East Texas so not sure how it will do.

Just recently signed with AT&T and have great reception. We will see if this continues. Was with Boost mobile and had a BB curve, and it was ok, but bad signal inside buildings.

I never have a dropped call. When I travel to east Texas I occasionally lose reception on the highway, but that is typical in rural areas.

It never fails. Driving east on 635, nearing 35 all of a sudden my phone dies. I have traveled this route several times and it's always the same. No reception until I cross 35.

I get 3 / 4 or 4 / 4 bars when outdoors. When I'm indoors, I generally get 1-3 / 4. Lower bars if cloudy. Currently using Nexus S and I have the 3G data plan. I would say the 3G drops down to Edge occasionally when streaming internet radio while driving. Don't know if that's my phone or T-mobile's fault, since this is my 1st 3G phone. Does get annoying when the internet radio cuts out though.

Varies between 1 and 2 bars. I have to walk out to the street for a reliable cell call (AT&T).

Horrible. Can't get anything inside a building and very poor outside. T-Mobile was better, although not perfect.

It is rare for either phone to have more than a single bar and too often it doesn't have that.
