Was forced to "upgrade cell phone" because MetroPCS is dropping CDMA networks in favor of T-Mobile's GSM Old Service with MetroPCS no problems with CDMA network for years and years. Now T-Mobile GSM drops every call to every phone conversation. It doesn't matter if I make or receive the call ALL calls drop sometime when phone has 4 bars. So if you choose to be forced to upgrade service is horrible.Was this review helpful to you?
This is the worst service I've ever had. When calling people I have to call several times because the first few result in me not being able to hear on my end. Although I have unlimited 4g, I am seldom able to get an Internet connection. Save ur time and money and go with any other carrier.Was this review helpful to you?
The reception in this area sucks. I called Verizon to see if they can do anything about it and nothing was resolved. In comparison my partner has AT&T and his service is stellar. I have to walk outside to make calls and even then the signal is very weak. Right now I'm pressed against a window to get service because its raining outside and I have one bar. I've been with Verizon for almost 15 years and now I'm about to switch. It's a shame.Was this review helpful to you?

The T-Mobile coverage map shows that you should get the best ever signal (dark green) for the area and that you should get very good reception. Well, well, well-- I wonder on which day or in which year they checked it -I am basically on the corner of the two streets mentioned above and there is no signal--no wonder more and more people are calling it "No-mobile" rather than "T-Mobile". I have reported it so many times to T-Mobile and they are lying all the way or the tech that test in the area is a liar. The service from T-Mobile is rather "bad!" here in Dallas Do not go for T-Mobile if you are in the Village or close to Lovers, Skillman or Amesbury Rd. If you are lucky you might have spotty service but for the most of it - it is going to be bad!Was this review helpful to you?
Had a Samsung Dart that was recommended to me at T-Mobile store by their associate. What a crappy phone that was but it had it moments where it worked great. It got little to no reception at home at all even though the T-Mobile map says "excellent coverage" where I live. At best I could walk to the back of the apartments and get one to two bars. Fast forward bought a new phone that works brilliantly but reception is even worse. I have to leave my complex for about a mile to a mile and a half just to get any bars. The wifi calling is there until I walk my dog in the complex and am out of range. I also get no reception at work either so the two places I am the most, work and home, my phone is just extra weight in my pocket.Was this review helpful to you?
Staying in Dallas for a whileand my serice is horrible. They sent me a new phone. Still horrible. I have to go outside to make calls and still drop them. Service is to expensive to not be reliable. I have had ATT for almost 10 yrs and never have I had such terrible service as I do in my current location. I am near the Granada and Greeneville which should never have an issue. What is up ATT?? Fix It!Was this review helpful to you?
Calls drop constantly even with line of sight connection to T-Mobile tower. The one minute the phone shows T mobile and the next it shows Searching- cannot find T-Mobile connection and then suddenly it is good- this happens 20+ times a day. I do not experience this in other areas or cities. More people in the office experience it too on their Tmoble phones. This also happens outside the office. I took my phone to the T-Mobile store - they tested it and also replaced the simm card and said there is nothing wrong with the phone. The closer you get to the this area T-Mobile tower, you hear a lot of jitter on the phone. I offered to meet a T-Mobile tech at their tower that he can hear and experience the problem but they decline it. I have been with them for 12 years and I think it is time to move on since they are not prepared to fix their problem. I cannot believe T-Mobile service is so bad in this country! If one go to Germany they have excellent service. seems that the locals just want to make money and not spend money to get their system working.
