We can hardly make phone calls and sending texts constantly fail. It has been bad but the last few weeks it horrible. Several dozen neighbors are complaining about it.Was this review helpful to you?

I have lived here since January 2013 and have had Verizon the entire time. I got a smart phone December 2018. Prior to this, I had a flip phone and the service was not great. With my smartphone, in the past few months, I have no data connection, 75% of the time and I cannot depend on the network to work for my phone calls. I am forced to go to Fed Ex Office or another business where Verizon's signal is stronger. Years ago, Verizon said there was a definite service problem in my area and they were working to fix it and assured me with my smartphone I would have great service; I DON'T! I am trying to talk with them about this now but it takes forever to get through. My money is wasted on them and I am planning on filing an official complaint with whatever agency I can! Their coverage map is a lie!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
No one in my office has worse reception than mine. One other lady has TMobile and is also complaining, but mine clearly scored worst. Was this review helpful to you?
Moving to this area from a few blocks away. Cannot believe how poor the service is. Will work from home part of the time--have never experienced this in the 30 years I've lived in Dallas. Something has to be done. If it is A T and T's fault, will switch carriers. Was this review helpful to you?
The call performance is excellent except at the intersection of Lake Ridge Pkwy. and N Grand Peninsula Dr. My calls will drop every time there. The network connection consistently shows one or two bars in this area. Download speeds are on the slow side with speeds varying from 1.1 to 8+ mbps depending on location with LTE connection shown the majority of the time. Was this review helpful to you?
purchased Verizon monthly pre-paid plan for my Galazy 7. Coverage is no unreliable within the walls of my house as to be useless. For months I had been upset from the noise from next door neighbor sitting in his back yard having loud phone conversations ALL day. when I said something, he explained that he had a 2-year Verizon contract and didn't want to pay the cancellation fee. So neither of us could get coverage inside our own homes. This area around SMU is OWNED by ATT towers... . don't even consider Verizon...Was this review helpful to you?
The phone reception is great-no drops. Data varies between LTE to 4G depending on my location within the house. 4G is barely usable while LTE comes in at 15-20 mbps. If LTE signal was steady, I would rate at least 4 stars. Was this review helpful to you?

We are VERY disappointed with CRICKET's service. First of all, they have POOR to NO reception coverage in Dallas, Texas but you wouldn't know that looking at the incorrect Coverage maps they use to attract new customers. On top of the connectively issues, when I call Cricket to ask they for help, due to English language dialect barriers, I consistently have to waste over 1-2 hours trying to get them to understand American English (with everyone saying they don't have the authority or the policies in place to improve any problems or they say it's not their job and transfer me into the abyss). Additionally, when I ask for a credit to address the fact that their coverage is intermittent and, at best, only 0 to 1 bars of reception. They respond that, according to their "Coverage Map" for our home and work addresses, their map says we have EXCELLENT coverage and say I am not telling the truth. I've offered to screenshot our phone screens showing that, regardless of what their Coverage map says, the TRUTH and REALITY is that there is only 0 to 1 bar (POOR coverage) and intermittent connectively where we live and work. But, they keep responding that there is no need to pass along feedback that they need to re-assess cell phone reception and traffic in Dallas to improve their service. But, instead, they just keep responding "no, we don't" and, regarding their inability to ever get the Cricket phone they forced us to use and it never worked, they say it's past it's 2-week window to replace it, even though I reported it on the same day we purchased it and THEY are the ones who have taken more than 2 weeks (now it's been MONTHS) to fix or replace the phone as they originally promised to do. So, both the local store on Greenville in Dallas refuses to fix the problem and also the central customer service refuses to deal with it either. They all say it is not their problem or it is against policies to fix the problems that THEY created with false promises of excellent reception and working phones. Was this review helpful to you?
