Sprint

On 1 bar of LTE signal data rates are always at least 8 Mbps down and 5.62 Mbps up indoors. Depending on signal they can be as high as 27 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up. No problem with calls. Signal here is better than AT&T or Verizon.

Very spotty and unreliable connections. At home I lose connection from room to room. There have been several times I have had to restart phone to recapture connection. Making what should be a quick process, less than 15 sec take 7 to 10 minutes. AT&T cost more but I have watched my girlfriends ATT plan always out perform on coverage area and data speed. Tmobile:not such a deal when it doesn't work in alot of urban places.

Sprint has the worst service I have ever experienced both locally and traveling. Our phones don't work in our house and drop calls all over Dallas most times they don't even ring and just show a voicemail. The slow data may also be one of the most frustrating things about sprint. I never knew just how good I had it with AT&T. When everything works the way it should, you defiantly take it for granted. My wife and I joined Sprint because she supposedly got a discount through her employer. At the Sprint store they gave us the paperwork to fill out to get the discount but Sprint has not given any such discount and won't let us out of the contract. Stay away!

Slow, drops, camera automatic flash on occasional (I was told it has to do with the new towers upgrade), gps fail oftentimes.

I use an iPhone 4s. Never any problem with reception and I travel all over the metroplex and beyond. However, I'm very unhappy with the way they choke down data speeds after I reach certain level of usage. I can't use my phone for work related activities at all. The price I'm paying for 1 line and 3g of full speed data is more than half the cost of a plan they're offering for 4 lines and 10g of data. It's price gouging, and their claim of 'unlimited data' usage in my plan is deceptive at best.

Since the beginning of 2014 I have had little reception in my home. Since then, when my husband calls from his AT&T serviced phone, we have at least one drop per call.

I do not remember dropping any calls with Sprint in Dallas, so I don't have any complaints about their cell coverage. However, their data coverage is useless. 4G signal does not penetrate buildings and the 3G speeds are unusable (read: glacial).

Since Jan 20 2014 when at home I can't make or receive phone calls or send or receive text messages. I've had several conversations with ATT and they say towers are being worked on and will be done Feb 3. Today is 2-15-14, I still can't make calls or texts. I've never had this problem until January so I'm not sure what is going on with ATT and their cell towers.

I have been a loyal Sprint customer for many years but ever since they rolled out 4GLTE their service has been very poor. Last year they blamed it on not enough towers, this year I am constantly told it's my handset. I have replaced my HTC Evo 5 times in the last 9 months and still the reception, dropped calls, and lack of connectivity continues. I sit here one month away from my contract expiration wondering if I should finally find a new carrier. That is why I went to this site, to see if there was a better provider for my area. I run a business from home and this is my primary and only phone. It might be time to switch.

I very rarely get dropped calls I spend time all over metroplex. I've had ATT for 13 years. Have no complaints about the customer service. However, it's far too expensive. They gouge you on prices because they know the smaller companies can't keep up with the quality if reception.
