Very poor reception in this area, drops most calls and no chance at all at getting 4G speeds, let alone a stable 3G connection.

My phone will always drop my call and lock the phone without me even knowing this which I think is crap. Then AT&T has screwed my bill up numerous times. I don't get it put the info in the comp the way I say it. It's not hard

At onetime we had great coverage. We had guests with T-Mobile and they had to the middle of the street to make a call. we have very poor coverage and even the Micro Cell provided by ATT drops calls inside the house. We have been told that antennas were moved which caused the change in coverage. I have been told that the city of Coppell limits the locations for cell towers and read above the comments about Verizon and ATT not shareing very well. Any ideas would be appreciated.

While getting Verizon FiOS installed in home, the tech (many yrs experience with co.) said all the towers around here are owned by them, so when AT&T calls are dropped, it's cos Verizon customers get priority every time. Definitely something to consider!

Calls from inside the house to across town (not far at all) to Hwy. 121 (between MacArthur and Denton Tap Rd). result in frequent drops. A Verizon FiOS technician offered information that the local towers are Verizon owned. Therefore, Verizon callers get priority, AT&T calls get "2nd best service" (or worse? T-Mobile ranks pretty well here), which means "dropped"!

Parts of the building have no cell reception. Students are not supposed to be on cell phones, though.

dropped calls, calling my wife's phone from my phone in the same room ( on the same family plan ) goes directly to voice mail, her phone sits there and does not ring. she gets the voice mail 2 minutes later.

Phone service is adequate but data speeds are awful. 3G has rarely exceeded 200kpbs and 4g (on my previous EVO) was notoriously difficult to get a signal with. Location is in the office complexes along 635 between beltline and freeport in the Irving / Coppell area.

I have been with Sprint for almost 12+++ yrs. Reception in this are it's very bad ever since I remember. Now I have an unlimited data plan, but its so limited due to bad reception. Considering switching to an other carrier. Or, its there anything that can be done to fix the problem ?
