T-Mobile

Moved here from Tennessee. I get 4-bars reception here in the building but the T-Mobile signal drops to no bars very regular during the day. So when I am on a call, the call gets drop and the T-Mobile phone shows "Searching". This is bad new T-Mobile. I do not know why T-Mobile is working so well in Europe but so bad over here!I wish I can find a better service

No bars hardly ever! The E seems burned into the screen lol. So tired of calling customer service. Coincidentally my phone always has good reception when they text me my bill reminder. My husband has Metropcs, who just recently merged with T-mobile, and his phone always has the best reception anywhere we go. So, I call CS again to relay this fact. Hopefully they'll get Metro's level. I sure hope the technician I spoke to keeps his word and they come out and put in a new tower. *fingers crossed*

Very poor reception in the area in general. I get almost no reception inside my apartment and Call drops occur on a daily basis.

T-Mobile

Just switched from AT&T to T-Mobile yesterday and T-Mobile has lied. There is not good coverage in my area. I stay at between 1 bar and 2 bars in my home. If I walk outside the most bars I get are 3. I signed up for the $70 dollar unlimited talk, text and data. Yet many times the website time out because even the edge service drops off. Right now I'm looking at my device (Iphone 4) and I have only one bar. Good grief. I should have stayed at AT&T. Also be forewarned, T-Mobile has equally crappy customer service. Long waits, customer support agents that don't know anything, tell you to hold one moment and then cold transfers you, many against outside of the U.S. whose background noises include children crying and people laughing and yelling as if their home office is right in the middle of their living room, etc. Terrible. I'm requesting my money back in the morning.

AT&T

Have had wonderful service with iPhone 5 all over town. Regularly travel between north and south Dallas with absolutely no problems. The dropped calls of old no longer occur.

Phone calls are ok however 3g stinks and I have never had 4g service work at the house or around The Colony. Don't go with Sprint.

Verizon

My wife just got on Verizon yesterday. Generally getting 1-3 bars in the house, but she's experiencing poor call quality and garbled conversations. Where as I have ATT and a FULL signal all the time and excellent call quality, no garbled voices EVER. Weird. I assumed Verizon would be as good as ATT. Not at all. Not here at least. Buyer beware!

4G speeds are all over the place as far as speed, but mostly in the 1mb DL and 0.8 mb UL. 3G speeds are awful! It takes a 5 minute youtube video, 10 minutes to load and play.

AT&T

We are adding a cell phone booster with directional antenna to see if this helps - we get 1-2 bars in the house and 3 bars in the front yard using iphone 4s.

Service inside my house is 2 bars at best but generally 1 bar or no bars. I would get rid of my land line which is 98% telephone solicitors if I could at least somewhat rely on cell service which I cannot at this time

Sprint

Sprint LTE reception is spotty at best. It does seem that the CDMA only network works well. Am hoping that the LTE network improves as Sprint continues to upgrade its services.

AT&T

Very poor reception in the entire area. Phones are unuseable inside and not much better outside. 1 Bar is typical but, on a really good day, you might get 2. Also, the AT&T phones have been totally worthless when raveling. Neither phone is useable at any of our typical destinations (Il and OK). Searching for a new provider now.

Coverage is spotty in certain parts of house. Brick veneer 100% of exterior. Closest AT&T tower about 3 miles to SW. Have considered AT&T microcell device but it does not appear to be rated well by users.

2 or 3 bars max..3 mbs disappointing speed consistantly.

MetroPCS

Cannot get good call quality inside my apartment, where the walls are NOT made of rock, and other carriers enjoy great call quality. I'm NOT using Metro 4G.

T-Mobile

Use Solavei Mobile Service which used T-Mobile Towers. Excellent reception throughout Frisco and even north for about 30 miles. My old Sprint was excellent but I save money with Solavei and get excellent reception with the T-Mobile connection.

AT&T

terrible reception in the Hackberry Creek neighborhood. Sometimes it's decent but mostly way below average. If I go outside, I get a little better reception, but indoors is pretty bad.

Worst customer service, phone service I have ever dealt with. Sprint is a joke. If you research, Sprint has been sued SEVERAL times having to pay several millions. They will continue to screw customers as long as they have customers to screw. Do the research and stop buying Sprint service. It doesn't work. I will take my business elsewhere and will not, I repeat, will not pay an early termination fee. If Sprint can't provide the service I pay $250.00 a months for then the contract is void. Period.

1 bar reception for calls. Poor call quality. 4G lte is laughable - home dial up was quicker. Cut off from the web all day in Stonebriar. I will change provider asap

we have AT&T cell phones and get no reception at or in our house. This is very frustrating. I have purchased (should have been given) AT&T booster. It corrected nothing. I am thinking of switching both our phones to another carrier... . 214-676-0546 and 214-850-1232. please advise

Noticed the same loss of coverage over the last couple of months as another review mentioned Used to work fine, but recently I've had to wander around the backyard to find decent reception. I work at home sometimes, and often have to field after hours calls. It can be quite annoying and disruptive. Any one know why this would have happened just out of the blue?

Have one bar for voice and for data 4G not available,3G is so bad that I stopped using any data. Sprint markets unlimited data crap which no one can use. Stuck for now with them but will be out soon.

Very seldom have even one bar. Calls when they get through are almost immediately dropped. Very seldom can even send text messages-long waits before sends if at all. Even more frustrating than AT@T.

I have two phones, one from T-Mobile and another AT and T. Both of them work fine till last month. AT and T reception went bad over the past month, when T-Mobile still works fine. Main problem with AT and T is dropped calls and no signal bar from time to time.
