Sprint

Was working great until Sprints cell tower 'updates'. Now neither my wife's or my phone work at all. Dropped calls if it even goes through. Text messages that can not be delivered or received. Completely unusable.

Great signal all the time. Iphone 3gs and T-Mobile service.No dropped calls and great signal throughout DFW area. Only place I have poor signal so far is Peggs, Oklahoma which is in the sticks. My signal there sucks donkey dick. But then again, there are no towers there.

Reception in my home was atrocious - constantly dropped calls. Would go from 2-3 bars 4G to 4 bars 2G then no signal without moving the phone. T-Mobile sent a cell repeater (two units) and now I get 4 bars 4G in my home, but the area is still riddled with dead spots and poor reception throughout.

have to be at the window, practically outside to get a signal. I always have 1 bar. They were supposed to put a new cell tower off of Heritage Trace... .where is the service?

I recently moved to TX from AZ. Since I arrived here EVERY call I receive or send is dropped. I have a droid 3G and have complained about the service both on the phone and at one of their stores. Nothing has changed. I want to change service, but I'm having a tough time locating consistent positive reviews on ANY of the service providers.

My reception is terrible. My calld dropped constantly until they sent me an airwave to strenghten my signal. Now I get 3-4 bars 3g in my house. Calls drop when I drive down the street, and forget 4g. Most place I go, its the same. I like unlimited data, but it's useless if I can't get a good enough signal to use it. I will be switching carriers when my contract is up.

Dropped calls all the time. Have to go outside and sit in my car to get reception and it still gets dropped. When I call AT&T to ask about it, I'm always told "they're doing some work on the cell towers." I've been hearing the same thing for almost 10 years now!

I get 1 bar inside my house on average, but sometimes I get 2 bars if I'm walking around the house. I'm changing service providers tomorrow.

Horrible reception... Missed calls all the time. Can't send out texts. Dropped calls. HORRIBLE!

You cannot get reception from Sprint here in the apartments, nor half of the complex even if you go outside. They say we are too close to the tower..that is across on the other side of 35w

I can get all bars in 4G, in the parking lot of Albertsons; at the corner of loop 820 and White Settement Rd. When I drive west -to my house- reception drops to 2 bars in 3G, after about 1 quarter mile.

I have had AT&T for years now and I rarely have problems (exception: during hurricanes). I frequently notice I have bars when my peers and coworkers do not (they have mostly Sprint and some T-mobile). I'd suggest AT&T, highly recommended. *Note: they also have great family plans, but the individual plans tend to be a bit more expensive.

I just moved here from Colorado and wish I didnt have Verizon. The worst service and dont even get me started with the crappy HTC. Sprint here I come!

It is not how many bars you get but how well the network works! I have recently changed from a Motorola Q9m to the iPhone. I drive all over the metroplex and in may cases experience several dropped calls and VERY poor (can not understand the person) voice quality on AT&T 3G network. The data service are the worst I have used and 1XRTT works much better (1x is a 2.75G speed). This is an unacceptable quality of service. I will be switching back as soon a the contract is up. Save me!

The tower is on White Settlement at Carrol. Going West, there is a perfect signal to Bailey at White Settlement. The next very short block drops 2 of 5 bars. Going NW on N Bailey, one block drops another bar or more. Anytime your in a structure, you have just about lost all service. Sometimes, EARLY(3am) in the morning hours you may have a good service? (3bars?). It is not usable. Blackberry is great with full signal! With a marginal single it just is junk.

I have had AT&T / Cingular for the last 5 years. I ALWAYS get a dropped call when driving on Northwest Loop 820. The dead zone is between Hwy. 199 and Lake Worth when driving on the Loop. I have had 4 different phones in the last 5 years and all have dropped calls at that location.

The reception on my phone and my wife's LG Vue sucks bad. It's bad all the way up 7th / Camp Bowie to the Museum. Reception is even worse up by the museum. Don't get AT&T if you plan to live anywhere between downtown and Montgomery Street.

Perfect 5 bar reception inside and outside my home. Calls never drop and we have good data service with AT&T throughout the surrounding NE Tarrant county area.

I have to say, I barely get any reception at all! When I am instant messaging on my cell phone, there's points where it will say "Unable to send message" and it was a very long one! It makes me mad to retype it onto my phone, and phone calls, don't get me started on that! I have to go walk outside to the dead intersection to get a few bars that stick with me, otherwise, inside the house, in front of my home, in the front or backyard, it will automatically drop and be choppy, and I get yelled at by my mother for "hanging up" on her, when it's actually my call that dropped! I am so unpleased by cell phone service in Azle, if it was not a neccessity, I would not have it.

MetroPCS

Metro PCS has provided me with more conisitent coverage than any other carrier I have used (Sprint, Nextel, AT&T, Verizon). There seems to be a dead spot for all of them at NE 820 and Beach when you are exiting to Beach going west.

Just moved from Tampa to Fort Worth. Have had Sprint for nearly 10 years and reception in my home little to non-existant. If I walk around inside house calls drop. I have to stay confined to one area or go outside. At work in building no service have to stand next to window just to send a text. Will be switching to T-Mobil when contract is up.

I have had Cingular(now ATT) for 2 1 / 2 years and have not had any problems with reception. Our contract has been up since last June and at this time are deciding if we want to stay with ATT or change to another. After reading some of the comments on here will have to do some definite thinking about if we want to change or not.

AT&T Mercury USB Wireles Modem for internet. Reception ws 237.0 Kbps 1 block from lake and on North end of Eagle Mountian lake. Actual PC Web reception was almost as slow as 56k dial up. My next door neighbor has Verizon wireless modem and get excellent speed. I hate Vreizon - but I believe it is the only choice I have if I want internet at a reasonable speed. I am returnig the AT&T wireless modem to switch to Verizon - very reluctently. In Frt Worth, the AT&T moden performed at 3.6 Mbps - very fast.
