T-Mobile
Hi, T-Mobile network is outstanding, I have purchased from Panam Telecom, T-Mobile Premium Dealer and even these guys are good in service.

AT&T
iPhone through AT&T. Constantly dropping call even with signal booster. Tired of having to go outside to make a phone call. Many inquiries to AT&T. Never any improvement. Our business is going elsewhere.

AT&T
The number of bars of reception varies, but even with 4 bars I am unable to send emails or use my browser.

Inside my office building, I miss calls, drop calls and internet connectivity is terrible at best. Even with the phone displays 3G, more times than not, it does not connect to the internet. Things are better when the office clears out, like 4:30 pm. Sounds like the network is overloaded. Add some more bandwidth At&T. At the prices you charge, I should never lose connectivity.

AT&T
No reception in office building. Phone seems to be on Edge all the time. I am so fed up of AT&T now.

I live about 4 blocks from downtown Houston and both me and my fiancé's phones will not allow any calls and when trying to make a call it just beeps and hangs up... and this is happening on both T-Mobile and Cingular, on both an I-phone and an android... Some calls to LAN lines will go through but just say sorry check the # and try again when it's a 100% known working phone #??

Most often have to go the backyard to have a semi-reliable conversation. Front of house to kitchen most often hopeless. Will try T-Mobile now that AT&T not buying them.

I work downtown. I get no reception, ever. How does AT&T not have decent service downtown in the 4th largest city in the USA? WTF?

T-Mobile
Sometimes drops calls (1 out of 8 or so). Data is slow though. btw Also comcast internet is terribly slow in the heights. So is Clear, when many people get on in the evenings.

T-Mobile
Excellent Tech support (Thanks Tom) and customer service. My I-Phone 4 (officially unlocked - $1000 from UK - I just hate contracts) works great except the Data channels for 3G / 4G not compatible with T-Mobile. I only get 2G service for Data speeds. It should be OK for everyone if they merge with AT&T (not less than 1 year).

AT&T
AT&T IS HORRIBLE IN HOUSTON. I have both AT&T and Verizon phones. The AT&T phone is pretty much a paperweight. The Verizon phone works great pretty much everywhere, even in the elevators and the tunnels. Go Verizon!

AT&T
Nearly impossible to make and stay connected during a conversation.

AT&T
Horrible reception, either no data, slow 3G or sometimes Edge only. AT&T says they have a problem but have been "working on it" for months now. It seems to worse every day.

Verizon
Verizon customer for almost 10 years. We've never had more than 2 bars (out of 5) in the house, and normally it's either 1 bar, or no service. We've had Verizon tech people to the house... they say it's just a bad service area, due to lots of trees and other obstructions. But, they continue to take our money, even though we can't make a call from our home. Service around town is usually pretty good.

All of a sudden this part of downtown has next to no service. Never had a problem until this year. It takes forever data to load, I have no access to wifi. Service seems to have suffered lately not just downtown but all over Houston.

AT&T
No service this morning; then lousy connections with dropped calls. I thought AT&T was a "major player" in cell phones. If that's the case, then they'd better clean up their act in Houston or they've lost me as a subscriber. Their service is sub-par and pathetic.

Verizon
Poor to sometimes no reception. Verizon acknowledged that my area is marginal and said I have three options: 1. Purchase a cell phone signal booster for the house at $150. 2. Cancel plan with no early termination (I just renewed my contract 2 weeks ago) 3. Do nothing and either deal with it or call forward cell phone to home phone. Not sure what to do because reception is good everywhere else in Houston.

AT&T
Zero reception in my apartment 5 minutes from downtown Houston. AT&T covers 97% of America, but I guess the Museum District in Houston is part of the other 3%. I've had enough of paying money for no service. Switching to Verizon as soon as my contract is up next month.

AT&T
Zero coverage in our near my house (5 minutes from downtown Houston). Drop calls on I-45 downtown. Regularly drop calls all over town. Can't get on internet except where Wi-Fi is available.

T-Mobile
I always lose reception and get the SOS signal when I drive through Memorial park area. Also I get dropped calls or calls failed message when trying to dial in any part of Houston. I am not sure if it is the Bold 9700 issue or is it just t mobile altogether.

I always get 4 or 5 bars in our apartment complex and rarely ever get a dropped call.

really bad, 1-2 bars, drops calls or fades in and out... .

AT&T
Reception is decent, but what plagues AT&T is calls dropped. I'll pay any money not to have my calls mysteriously get cut off if over 2 minutes. AT&T is aweful and the iPhone is superior. The new option for Verizon as a iPhone carrier will put enormous pressure on Ma Bell to allieviate their issues... hopefully!

AT&T
I have never had a problem with dropped calls or reception in the Heights or anywhere throughout Houston. My contract is up and I'm considering switching over to T-Mobile, but their monthly rates are just as high as At&t's. In the past, I have had problems with At&t's customer service, but within the past 6 months, there has been considerate improvement. I may just stay with AT&T after all. Looks like they're making an attempt to compete rather just stay afloat with iphone craze. Iphone 3Gs, IMO is way over rated unless you want to surf the web on your phone. Definitely just a toy--not a business tool. I've also used the Samsung Blackjack---had no problems with it either. It's just a very outdated phone and I need to upgrade.

T-Mobile
OMG... I've been with T-Mobile since they were Aerial as well (since 1998) to be exact and I'm so upset with the lack of service I've been getting. My cell is my only means of communication and people tell me all the time that they have to call me 7-8 times before it rings... .otherwise, it goes to vmail. Don't EVEN get me started on their broadband... ... .

Verizon
Much better than AT&T ub the Heights - don't need to walk out to front yard to talk!

T-Mobile
I consistently have calls drop. I have contacted T Mobile and requested a boost which seems to have worked for awhile but now is as bad as ever. Not sure if a better quality phone would help (I've used low-end Nokias). However, have had friends over with better quality phones (also on T Mobile network) and they have calls dropped as well.

AT&T
Calls dropped frequently but texting great. Calls also very static and difficult to hear. Can't wait for ATT contract to expire. Would not recommend them for cell phone service.
