No reception, constant dropping of calls and I have an MCell, which the phone will not pick up when I get home unless I turn it off and back on. Have been to the Apple Store 3 times for this issue. They say it is just the poor reception in The Woodlands.

I have perfect reception with Verizon. I have been in Cypress for 6 years and I have never had an issue with dropped calls. I use my cell more than I use my home phone. I believe that Verizon is the best phone service in this area.

Nov 2011. What happened? All over The Woodlands my cell phone signal is bad or zero. It's lots worse than it used to be. All my iPhone friends are complaining too.

We moved here from out of state the year before hurricane Ike. At that time my cell reception with Verizon was terrible. I called numerous times to complain but they said I was in a "dead zone" even though the map said I should have great reception (the closest tower is a mile away). After hurricane Ike, they must have adjusted the tower because since then I've had better service. Not perfect, but an improvement. I can talk on my phone without having to step outside.

Fairfield has no reception at all! When we moved out here 3 years ago we had average to below average. For some reason since the release of 4g, there is no service! Every call I make, whether in my home or in my driveway or yard, either won't go through or drops. I was told we are in a dead zone even though AT&T's map shows we have the best coverage! After weeks of complaining and going up to the store once a week, they finally gave us an MCELL for free. I at least have bars now, but calls are still distorted and drop! So glad we didn't pay for the MCELL or I would have demanded a refund! When is AT&T going to do something about it's dropped calls and lack of service in the Houston area? We are the fourth largest city in the world, this is ridiculous!

The AT&T service SUCKS! I usually can not talk inside my home. If I go outside, I have okay service, but still drop calls. We need a tower, I would not have bought my home here if I would have known I would not have cell service.

Absolutely awful 3G connectivity in this area. T-Mobile phones like my own(HD2) and guests with a range of other makes and models seem to indecisively hop from the various types of towers in this area, which makes for a sketchy at best internet experience. Calls dropped on a regular basis. T-Mobile service in this area is a nightmare. Proceed with caution.

I have to go outside to make and receive phone calls, and I still drop calls while in my yard! I may try Verizon since they have iphones.

Worked great up until around April 2011. Then went to one bar. Numerous dropped calls, etc. Makes me think they have lost a tower in this area.
