From my house, if the call goes through I will lose the signal within the next minute. Ok in the neighbourhood

When I had Verizon I would lose service near the most interior walls. Now that I'm with T-Mobile (for 2yrs.) I get full bars in and out. You should never have to step outside you home to talk on your cell.

Relative to post "Ike" storm but it appears that coverage is varying with most of coverage being poor to bad. At one time following the storm's passing the coverage was at 2-3 bars but degraded again.

Great Service! Never a dropped call! always receive calls (though I might reject them sometimes) always get my txt in on time, and out when they need you to. Had Sprint, so glad i'm outta that! BEST COVERAGE EVER! it really is no lie.

We get horrible reception from Sprint in our neighborhood on all of our cell phones. Many dropped calls or reception going in and out during calls. The Sprint map shows us in a "fair" reception area. A new cell tower went up in a nearby self storage facility (Huffmeister and Barker Cypress), but so far I've had no luck getting Sprint to look into leasing it. This is the one of the fastest growing communities in Texas - I don't understand why we can't get better service.

very horrible reception, tried to switch to sprint. Customer service is horrible as well. Never would recommend nextel / sprint to anyone.

I have had Verizon, and Sprint and Cingular / ATT in this house and Cinglar / ATT has been the best reception not only here but in office buildings in the different "downtows" of Houston as well as on the road. I don't use the internet much on the phone but we like the rollover minutes (are they going away?) and the family plan plus calling between people on this network is unlimited. I remember when Houston Cellular switched to Cingular and its coverages was really bad and had tons of dropped calls. It is much better since then, but now that it is ATT I am sure they will try to tweak the number of consecutive calls on their antennas and service could drop. Hope they don't.

Even though the number of bars was good the reception was terrible. Couldnt talk within the apartment.
