Reception is poor, where this is the 7th most populated city in the nation. Baffling, that I can't even do internet searches on a regular basis.

Terrible! As a business traveler, unacceptable. Cannot use as backup hub to mitigate the also horrible ISP provider. San Antonio! Step it up!

I had bad coverage living in the suburbs of St. Louis. But since I moved to San Antonio, my signal strength has excellent... even able to make calls without dropping in our apt elevator. My work phone is AT&T and comparing the signal strength between the two, has been similar or better with T-Mobile. Also enjoying the freebies on T-Mobile Tuesdays! Got a free movie ticket this week.

Reception around the city is okay when it comes to data. But I have dropped calls, can't connect to data at times. This and the phone shows a -98 or 3 bars signal. Also being on LTE or 4G seems to not help either. T-Mobile talks a lot of fluff and will say that there helping you out with your issues, but it seems to me that- T-Mobiles towers are over subscribed. Too many people using the few T-Mobile towers that's in San Antonio.

Service has improved all around compared to a year ago. Speed tests will show that Sprint is trying very hard to improve its network. I am a satisfied customer. There are parts of town that get terrible service, however I feel that they will improve as they have with my area which was pretty sad last year.

Poor customer service. Did fix a problem with my phone but didn't messed up other things on my Phone. As a business you should never make it seem like it's the customers fault and yet they continue to say it's not our fault. I would not suggest going there at all.

Good signal and coverage. Data is a lot better than before.

If you are not on a family plan then I can't imagine why anyone would have anyone other than cricket. I only pay 35.00 / MO. Admittedly I only have 1 gig of data but even if I paid more and went up in data, it would be less than all the other carriers and the coverage is awesome.

Sprint's reception is so poor in San Antonio I was almost better off using native GPS alone rather than trying to use tower assisted. I would show up at a location and my phone would show me still on the other side of town. Lots of dropped calls. I was out of plan anyway and decided to go Verizon prepaid. Have terrific, cheap service now. Called to cancel with Sprint and they informed me they will NOT cancel service immediately and pro-rate the end of a coverage period, so exiting users have to pay their entire bill. So if your cycle is on the 1st, and you cancel the 3rd, you will pay for 27 days of non-use while on another carrier with the same number. I've never had a carrier do this, even if it's technically legal. I assume the legit carriers are interested in return customers and don't want to create bad blood. So for Sprint, it means they are very aware people who leave are never coming back. Which is why they literally argue with you when cancelling service. Adios Sprint. You won't be a brand in 10 years.
