Was very good until the past 3 weeks. Now coverage in and around is virtually non-existent. Company maintains 4glte is working. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception around the city is okay when it comes to data. But I have dropped calls, can't connect to data at times. This and the phone shows a -98 or 3 bars signal. Also being on LTE or 4G seems to not help either. T-Mobile talks a lot of fluff and will say that there helping you out with your issues, but it seems to me that- T-Mobiles towers are over subscribed. Too many people using the few T-Mobile towers that's in San Antonio. Was this review helpful to you?
Since October 2015 I have been periodically reporting to Sprint that the LTE / LTE+ data speeds are unusable at certain times in 78230, 78257 zip codes. Voice and texts work fine. I have spent hours going to the Sprint store on De Zavala Rd twice to have them run diagnostics on my phone (phone tests fine), tweeting to Sprint Customer Care, calling Sprint Care for troubleshooting and finally calling Sprint Executive Offices and reporting the issue. They now have a ticket open for engineering to go out into the field and do some testing. The ticket has been open for three days now so we will see what happens. Bottom line is that if I had not been pushing the issue I wonder how many months or years it would have taken for Sprint to fix the issues? Was this review helpful to you?
Service has improved all around compared to a year ago. Speed tests will show that Sprint is trying very hard to improve its network. I am a satisfied customer. There are parts of town that get terrible service, however I feel that they will improve as they have with my area which was pretty sad last year. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor customer service. Did fix a problem with my phone but didn't messed up other things on my Phone. As a business you should never make it seem like it's the customers fault and yet they continue to say it's not our fault. I would not suggest going there at all.Was this review helpful to you?
If you are not on a family plan then I can't imagine why anyone would have anyone other than cricket. I only pay 35.00 / MO. Admittedly I only have 1 gig of data but even if I paid more and went up in data, it would be less than all the other carriers and the coverage is awesome. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint has by far the worst coverage, as well as the absolute worst customer service. While trying to resolve the issue of zero connectivity in my home, I was transferred without warning twice, and finally hung up on by the third representative I was having to deal with. When I terminated my contract with them this morning, the representative didn't even have a proper response. "Well, uh, thank you for being our customer for a bit. I appreciate it"... Sprint is the biggest piece of garbage on the planet. I install home security system so my job takes me all around the city and I get little to no service with this crap. Data is always buffering or unable to connect. 1x and 4 bars on LTE is pretty much the same thing. the area of 410 between Babcock and Bandera is a complete dead zone. and if youre on 151.. the bars might as well hold up a middle finger at you because you are SOL... It should be illegal for Sprint to "provide service" in San Antonio because it is a huge scamWas this review helpful to you?
Sprint's reception is so poor in San Antonio I was almost better off using native GPS alone rather than trying to use tower assisted. I would show up at a location and my phone would show me still on the other side of town. Lots of dropped calls. I was out of plan anyway and decided to go Verizon prepaid. Have terrific, cheap service now. Called to cancel with Sprint and they informed me they will NOT cancel service immediately and pro-rate the end of a coverage period, so exiting users have to pay their entire bill. So if your cycle is on the 1st, and you cancel the 3rd, you will pay for 27 days of non-use while on another carrier with the same number. I've never had a carrier do this, even if it's technically legal. I assume the legit carriers are interested in return customers and don't want to create bad blood. So for Sprint, it means they are very aware people who leave are never coming back. Which is why they literally argue with you when cancelling service. Adios Sprint. You won't be a brand in 10 years. Was this review helpful to you?
I have lived in this area for 5 years, in two different houses about 5 blocks apart. In the first house (4 years), reception was spotty inside, but consistainly good (three bars) outside. At the new house it is from zero to three bars regardless; inside or out. It is very troublesome as it comes and goes. At one bar they can't hear you, if it goes to zero the call drops. As soon as it drops the call you look and it's at three bars. Was this review helpful to you?
