AT&T
I have lived in this area for 5 years, in two different houses about 5 blocks apart. In the first house (4 years), reception was spotty inside, but consistainly good (three bars) outside. At the new house it is from zero to three bars regardless; inside or out. It is very troublesome as it comes and goes. At one bar they can't hear you, if it goes to zero the call drops. As soon as it drops the call you look and it's at three bars.

I've used Verizon for over 10 years. I've never had a problem with their voice or data signals wherever I was. This didn't change after moving to San Antonio in Sept. 2013. Admittedly, their data speeds are a little slow, and I sometimes wonder if they're throttling at times. My biggest complaint about Verizon is price. I very much dislike their move from unlimited data to paying by gigabyte. I find myself having to be very careful about my data usage some months. I've been looking into switching to another provider, but, other than AT&T, no one seems to have decent coverage. I guess you get what you pay for.

T-mobile was great when I lived on the Northwest side of town, near Bandera and 1604. Now that I've moved to Alamo Heights, I get dropped calls, moments where there is no service whatsoever, and 0-2 bars when I'm supposed to get 4-5. This happens in my home and outside. I have to travel a few miles to get a strong signal. I don't see the point in having this service if I have to invest $200-$600 for a booster unit. If I'm paying for a service, I should be able to access it. T-Mobile told me they'd check the towers and get back to me in 72 hours. They didn't.

Every call I get in my office drops within 20 seconds. I'm in a second floor office with a window. I can usually get calls in another location in the building but no internet service. Extremely poor service. It's been very frustrating.

HORRIFIC service. Switched from my parents AT&T plan to my own Sprint plan. Worst decision I could have made. I pay close to $100 a month for horrible data service. I'm a realtor and my business rides on me being able to text, email, and use my e-key which relies heavily on a data connection. My phone switches from lte to 3g hundreds of times a day, and even when it shows that I have 4-5 bars of 3g data, nothing loads. Ever. Such poor service coupled with a customer experience that would be embarrassing even for a third world country. I'm paying my early termination and jumping ship. If you use data at all (most everyone nowadays does) then run as fast as you can into a Verizon or AT&T store. Sprint is way behind with their LTE rollout and it doesn't seem like they're doing anything about it anytime soon.

I've been a Verizon customer for years. Great reception, and great customer service... although in person it can take a while to be helped. My only complaint is the data prices are too high. With all carriers having unlimited packages, I would think Verizon would want to be more competitive.

Drop calls very frequently and very slow data speeds... however if I drive 1 / 4 mile away I get service! Very frustrating... ..

My wife and I have a small store that we own, and we rely on our cell phones to work to conduct business. We are luck to have one bar on 3G iPhone, and on my Galaxy S3, its always switching from 3G to 4G. We also rely on our data service to update our business Facebook, but it always fails to send data. And if we travel, our service in Port Aransas,TX is non-existent.

I am currently using VirginMobile on Sprint network. Many dropped calls. Often my calls go straight to voicemail. It takes forever to get a signal when trying to make a call. 12 years ago, I had Sprint and experienced the same issues. I assumed by now that would have been resolved. Apparently, not. I had Verizon for many with no problems at home.

We had no problem with the phone until know ever since the storm we use to have coverage in our home now it just roams in and out. For the prices that the customer is paying for we should be able to get some type of respones but we keep getting is the round around everytime we call customer service. I would like to keep our services but they are just making easier to want to change providers what happen to customer service we have done everyting they have told to do put in this code and press this code and still we keep roaming. It has been two weeks know but oh no when they want their payment you have to pay.
