Verizon
Do not get Verizon. Nothing works. Too bad they are not truthful and tell you up front that service is not good, checked with folks within a 5 block area..same issue.

Reception is poor, where this is the 7th most populated city in the nation. Baffling, that I can't even do internet searches on a regular basis.

Me and my wife signed up for the minimum plan, $35 each with 3G of data. Upon checking my bill, there was a $9.00 insurance plan which I had refused, and a $20 Internet Access charge for Smartphones. So, the advertised $35 dollar plan is really $64 dollars, PLUS all the taxes and fees. We were never told about the additional charges, and the store clerk Isaiah, very rudely told me that is part of all plans, and if I didn't want to pay it, I could find another carrier. I definitely will!

2-3 times a year I go to Hamilton Texas my Home Town. I have not been able to make calls nor recieve... not even text. I need to reach people in San Antonio and other contacts and cannot. This is a make ore bread situation for Sprint and me. It appears we have solved the issue. Within 3 or 4 months I will be going back and we will fine out.

Numerous dropped calls. Calls cut in and out, this in turn makes the person you are speaking with sound like the speaker at a fast food restaurant. When speaking with customer service at Sprint, the call dropped 4 different times. Fun when you have to repeat your issues with 4 different agents! Would not reccomend to my enemies if they were in need of a cell carrier.

I have had Sprint since September 2017. I have had very few good experiences with the data network. Most of the time it feels like having dial up internet. For those of you who remember dial up internet you know what I am talking about. Call quality was fine but that's all I got. Call quality and texting. I might as well have a flip phone. I switch to Sprint thinking some things may have changed but nothing has changed. The service is still just as horrible as it was 10 years ago despite claims that Sprint is strengthening and increase their network. I have yet to see proof of that. Don't do Sprint. If you are thinking of making the move you are better off with Tracfone, or Straight Talk if you want cheap service. I used Net10 a prepaid carrier and had much better service than with Sprint.

I get decent reception in my home but at work (Medical Center near the VA), reception is abysmal. My phone constantly goes into "Roaming" mode and won't let me make phone calls out to anyone. I can text all day long but can't make phone calls. I've contacted Verizon and they have no legitimate answer for why the service is so poor. One would think that given we are "Military City," we would have access to superb wireless service. Sadly, this is not the case. I've had all of the carriers whilst here in San Antonio and they are all spotty at best.

Works pretty well. Drop calls around I10 and UTSA Blvd.often. Service is expensive and we don't even have unlimited data. I'll be switching soon because of cost and we, 4 of us, need new phones. Zero specials! Everyone is offering Buy one get one right now. I've done extensive research and right now Verizon and T-Mobile are winning. They aren't the cheapest but way better than ATT and people are giving them really good ratings. Sprint is getting horrible ratings. Plan to change this week.

Customer for over a decade and still being promised they are working on the towers. I have to use WiFi to make calls because I live in the Bermuda Triangle aparently.

Little no no service outside my house. Had to install a micro cell device to get good service inside my house.
