Sprint

I just moved to Austin and at my home down in Circle C we have a decent signal outdoors, but only a single bar inside our house. When at work in downtown Austin, I actually have no signal at all, there's an X over the bar icon. Until Sprint implements the 800Mhz band for 4G, their service will continue to be unusable in my opinion

It's hard to say what average is, because all the carriers have problems. Acceptable? Barely. At home I have ok coverage, with occasional dropped calls and moderate quality. Around town, even on I35 going between Austin and San Antonio, I drop a lot of calls. Texts over take quite a while to come through on the phone. Usuable? Yes. Great? Far from it.

About half the time reception is non-existent for phone and data. Texts arive late and fail when sending.

I agree with comment below. Reception in Barton Hills is pathetic lately. This is pretty poor for a neighborhood so close to a downtown city.

What has happened to Sprint reception? In the last few months, I can't hold a conversation anywhere near my home. I am going to have to switch providers or never use the phone. I will be calling Sprint to try to rectify the issue... if I can get a signal long enough.

Been customers for years, and always had great reception. We moved out near the airport about 2 years ago and have had intermittent service ever since. Not much longer!

Moved to Buda Texas area about a month ago. Thought I was moving from the worst possible location to have Sprint service (Kansas City) which just happens to be Sprints Corporate Headquarters. but low and behold I have found somewhere that actually has worse service than Kansas City. I get that they have to do upgrades but then do them and get them done. dont just dilly dally around and make the customer suffer. we should all start asking for either money back for the lack of service or we should move to another carrier. SPRINT SUCKS.!

I've had Sprint for the last 10 years living in the same house. A year ago we started getting numerous dropped calls and Sprint offered us an Airave which worked fabulously. In the past couple of months, we understand Sprint did an "upgrade" in the area and now we get no signal in a 4 block radius of our home on our cells and our Airave no longer gets a signal. After being a long-term customer, we are looking at changing our carrier.
